Finally have a chance to watch this today ... I thought it was good until the very end ... I don't get it. It ended like that ... perhaps, there will be part two to it (I hope). One thing I learned from this is ... always give other people opportunity to be a part of your life and if they decide to leave you then it's okay because you gave your best and that should all be that matter. We shouldn't shy away those who love us more than we see them as just because we have someone else in 'place.'

Anyway, the places in here are so pretty! I miss Japan and would definitely return to visit Hokkaido next time I decide to go back.

Always love this song ... put me in such romantic mood :)

I think the ending can be classified as "open ended". My interpretation is that

I think she will eventually remember Denchai. Kind of like the heart would remember what the mind forgets. Since she already cried after seeing herself so happy in the Sapporo festival, i think somehow, some way, the two of them would see each other again and it would work out. Of course, that is the optimist ending of it haha

Most of Ter's movies end that way. Though some, like say, Hello Stranger, has an ending that leans more towards the presumption that indeed the couple would find each other again.

But yeah, I cried a lot, and fell in love with Denchai. Where can I find a guy like that, seriously?!?! I really love Mew and Ter in here.
