Anyone seen this yet? I watched it on Netflix and it was really good. Got me bawling again. I really like the plot and I love how n'ek stood by her truth and make sure p'ek came back to fix the damage made by his mother while he was on a business trip. The plot somewhat remind me of a Thai lakorn; n'ek is forced to marry p'ek, pregnant and forced out of the house with no contact between her/p'ek for a good few years to later see each years later when the child is grown up. Anyway, I thought that Thai lakorn n'ek was hard headed with strong will but the n'ek in here was 10x stronger. I admire her tolerance.

If you're bore, you can catch the English subtitle show on Netflix or the regular non-English on Youtube. I hope to see more fans in here soon ...

Synopsis:
Khirad Ahsaan (Mahira Khan) belongs to a small locality in Hyderabad, and lives with her mother Maimoona (Saba Faisal). Maimoona's brother Baseerat Hussain (Behroze Sabzwari) is wealthy and is married to Fareeda (Atiqa Odho); they have a son named Ashar (Fawad Afzal Khan). Since she has cancer and doctors inform her that she will die soon, Maimoona seeks her brother's help in arranging Khirad's marriage. To compensate for not taking better care of Maimoona, Baseerat promises that Ashar will marry Khirad. This irks Farida, who has always wanted Ashar to marry his cousin Sara (Naveen Waqar), the daughter of Farida's sister Zarina Ajmal (Hina Khawaja Bayat). In spite of their reluctance, Ashar and Khirad are married moments before Maimoona passes away. Sara, who is in love with Ashar, is heartbroken upon learning this and attempts suicide. Both Ashar and Khirad are aloof towards each other and feel uncomfortable in the forced marriage. Ashar still promises Khirad that he will attempt to maintain a stable relationship. Khirad feels that by marrying a man who is financially superior, she has lost her self-respect. Gradually, the duo fall deeply in love with each other. Ashar admires Khirad's innocence, simplicity and purity of heart; his admiration is reciprocated by Khirad, who is in awe of his caring personality. While he develops a strong and loving relationship with his wife, Ashar remains friends with Sara. When Sara humiliates Khirad, Ashar reprimands her for her callousness. Soon, Baseerat becomes ill and on his death-bed, he reminds his son that it is important for him to always look after Khirad. Tune in to see what happen next ... or you're welcome to spoil yourself at Wikipedia with the full plot.

These two have a lot of chemistry like Arshi <3

These are not from the drama -- it's a LUX commercial they shot recently.

Also, she's the n'ek in SRK's new movie, Raees. I believe this is her Bollywood debut as well.

I'm also watching this show too. I'm like it a lot.
Did you cry? I couldn't help it .. maybe it's because I'm sick at the moment and is going through some sort of emotional ride too lol

The cry did help me with the sinus and the stuffy nose ---- it was worth the cry in here lol

He was such a mama boy though -- He didn't believe his wife at all so serve him right for being miserable in the last 4+ years lol

I'm glad he man up in the end and took matter to his own hand -- especially his family problem.

Yeah he sure is a mama boy. He didn't even try to believe his wife once. And the second guy was not man enough too. He let p'ek mom do as she want and didn't even stand by n'ke and tell p'ek its not truth. He so late he waited for what 4 year to be man enough to go tell p'ek about p'ek mom.

You know when I was watch this this series I thought this is just like Thai lakorn but its in Pakistani.

I watched Fawad's other drama on Netflix, Zindagi Gulzar Hai, and like it too. The n'ek in there reminds me of myself lol Have you seen that one yet?

I just started on this. Thank you for recommending this. It's so good. I'm addicted to it now. I'm on ep.7 and the mil seems like she likes nang'ek so all of that was just an act? So far the only person I'm annoyed with is the Nang rai. She's so annoying.
