Coming from a guy that love the Lord above all things.. If I get married in the future, I will always stand by my wife than my own mother/mother-in-law. God first, my future wife second and third both side of the parents. Love both equally. I don't think picking my wife disrespected the adults, it's just I want to treat my wife like a queen until death do us part.

whoa, can we date ? I need such a man lmao. Being raise in a Buddhism family, I was taught to love parent above all, yes even god , all the merit I can ever do this life will not add up to just a blessing from my parent. It does annoy me when parent use those line haha.

I think it depends on whoever is right and not a person with bad intentions/motives, but then it comes down to whether the son/husband is smart to realize these.

I think no one should ever have to put through that situation BUT I think a husband should always stand by his wife side. No matter what family is family and your mother will always love you, at least should! But that wife will always be there to support, love, start a family with. She definitely has a choice of walking out. I would just be so hurt if my husband didn't stand by me.

Having a good marriage by having a good value through God. Using Him as in a great example because he created all things, He knows best. He wanted His children to "honor mother/father" to love and respect. by showing how much I love and respect my wife. Communication is the key to a healthy relationship. telling my wife how much I love her and how beautiful I adore her beautify on a daily basis. I want her to know that she is the most important woman in my life no matter what kind of situations both of us will face in the future, that I will always be there to support her and value her opinion. Also, I want to be a good father to my children.

@SarN.. LOL!! I love to cook and I'm a neat freak. Speaking of money, I'm the only child and I don't have to work for the rest of my life. However, I love to work hard for my money because I don't want people to say I live off my grandparents money.
