from what i know v2d just means vhs to dvd. means someone transferred the videos from vhs probably with a dual recorder to dvd. it should work fine on your dvd player.

yep the converter makes the file bigger because wav is bigger now the problem is though i bet the quality is having audio feedbacks like ssssssssshh or static in it. it's easy to convert wav audios to mp3s but again you have that static in there. true but i'm thinking they weren't as detailed...

i would say the number one reason why audio is requested in wma and mp3 is because they would probably want to burn it to a cd or listen to it in an mp3 player. (( i know i gotta have my jams :unsure: )) realplayer is very limited. it can play a lot of things correct but you can't burn...

separate files sounds great! the thing with separate files though if you've previously downloaded buang ruk and you're waiting for subs they work best with the video file that was used to create the subs. it shouldn't make too much of a difference if the only thing compressed is the file size...

yesum using a resume software but if the server doesn't support resume that's what decoy mentioned.... rapidshare and filefront...no resumes and no resume programs just straight from browser.....stupid connection timeout...oh *ahem* nothing!

yes and no....if the file has been removed from the server or "expired" you'd have to physically upload it again....but i should prolly bite my tongue i think that was a given...just replying from how i'm comprehending the question :D
