Now I see why she gather up all the royal family & kill them . Everyone have the right to the throne b/c they all brother/sister !

Do you know Silla? The country before Korea peninsula union. The inbreeding was the main plot for Queen Seondeok. The royals married each. The successor only came from purebred which is both father and mother came from royal family. Scary.

Queen Seondeok came out well , she was smart lol. Europe got some crazy mental kings b/c of inbreeding!

Actually the drama came out well. The actual history not so much. Her nephew the next king who was mixed with noble blood did combine three nations. The nearer the blood is, the more the chance of having genetic diseases are higher. Tradition always have blindspot. Like Chinese, who favor sons, genetic diseases are more prone in male than female.

Updates: Jakjaan is no longer here because the queue conflicts with the filming of A Supachai's period lakorn. They're currently looking for her replacement. It is also said that the infamous Mew Chamaiporn (the actress who played Anuthip in the older version) will take part in this remake. How awesome is that!?

Thissa matches Thongpraya more but Pinmanee will be a great challenge for her. She's already taking private classes with Kru Ngor (The Academy) to prepare for this. Likewise, it's a good challenge for Preaw to transition herself into a sweet girl without any traces of E-Pia, Rong and her previous characters. I wholeheartedly agree about Yui. She is a wonderful actress but in terms of suitability, Nune or Pok would have been better for Sekratevi. The character exudes much poise and gracefulness while being able to stand on her own against the scheming Anuthip. She was able to make the King fall for her kindness when initially he hated her and was determined to only love Anuthip. Preyanuch's portrayal was effortless that it's going to be hard for fans to watch without making comparisons. Someone like Ann Siriam would have been great for this type of role. Ann gave an interview saying she's likely to accept work in the entertainment field again if time permits.

Asher, it's more loosely based on some characters and some events of history because there wasn't enough documentation for them in include in the lakorn version. Normally I like this type of genre when it comes to Chinese series but not with Thai lakorns. The stellar cast is what made this more than just a typical period lakorn of the Queens fighting for power.

Would Noon go back to playing 2nd to Aum after she left Ch7? I have my doubts. I thought Preeyanuch was great but her role is so much much less significant than Ananthip. I think she died like 2/3s of the way through? Her daughter got a happy ending but I think Ananthip's 2 daughters were both the n'ek and n'rai of the next generation. Which was gross by the way. I couldn't get over the 2 sisters fighting over their half brother thing.

Preyanuch's daughter married her cousin right? I just remember the guy was in a lakorn with Benz as the Saturday God and other boran series.

Yes Preeyanuch's character Sekkratevi was not the main, the lakorn was about Ananthip, She was the fire that burned the monarchy and the country.

Thongpaya married her half brother too. He was the son of the king and Ream Beung, the second wife and lady in waiting of Sekkratevi. They all married within the family.

The King had three sons, one with Ream Beung, one with Jao Nang ThongNuan, and the other with the girl from the forest. Thongpaya married Krongpope who is Ream Beung's son. The cousin died along with his father, the king's brother, at the hands of Ananthip
