starring: So Ji Sub & Gong Hyo Jin

Several years ago Kong-Sil (Kong Hyo-Jin)
was involved in an accident. Since that incident, Kong-Sil is able to
see and hear ghosts. She's also terrified of the ghosts that appear
constantly around her. Because of this, she's unable to live a normal
life. Kong-Sil lives in a rooftop room at an extended stay inn. She
makes a living by doing odd jobs at the inn, including cleaning.
Meanwhile Joong-Won (So Ji-Sub)
is the president of an extravagant shopping mall named Kingdom. He is
also arrogant and calculative. Everything relates to him in terms of
money.
One raining evening, Kong-Sil goes to room 404 to clean, but she
sees another ghosts. She freaks out and runs up to her rooftop room. The
ghost, who looks like an old woman, appears right next to her again.
Kong-Sil then does the old woman ghost a favor and goes to her home. She
hands the ghost's son a bankbook with more than 10,000 dollars in the
account.
Joong-Won sits face to face with a man who owns land that he
needs to build a golf course. The man tells Joong-Won that his deceased
wife does not want him to sell the land. Joong-Won doesn't believe in
ghosts and ignores him. He pulls out a contract which the man's children
already signed. Joong-Won is able to get the man's signature.
On his way back from that meeting, Joong-Won is driven by his assistant (Choi Jung-Woo).
The driver then sees a woman thumbing for a ride. Joong-Won tells his
driver to ignore the woman, but a light suddenly shines on them and the
car stops. At this time, Kong-Sil hops into the car and thanks them for
picking her up. Kong-Sil unintentionally touches Joong-Won and feels
something unusual. Later, the car pulls over at a highway rest stop.
While walking back to the car, Joong-Won sees Kong-Sil talking to
someone, but there isn't anyone else there. Thinking she might be crazy,
Joong-Won turns around, but Kong-Sil grabs his arm. She discovers that
whenever she touches him, the ghosts around her disappear.
Back at her rooftop room, Kong-Sil is terrified by the ghosts
around her as usual. She thinks back to Joong-Won and how the ghosts
disappeared when she touched him. Kong-Sil decides to go Kingdom
shopping mall to meet Joong-Won again.

Who's watching this?  I just barely started it last night... barely on episode 5.. I'm loving it!  So Ji Sub is just too darn attractively handsome in here (always been a fan of his).  Anyways, I'm pulled in the storyline as well... supernatural, comedy, romance.. It sorta reminds me of the lakorn Raak Boon of Margie and Mike.. but of course there's more romance in here...

gahhhh.. it's ending this week!  I need to power watch it!

I'm watching this, but I stopped at 6, but I caught on. It's really sweet and cute. I love this drama so much since L is in here to as the young main guy. LOL hehehe.

So, I just started this on Fri because I didn't understand why my friend talked about it. Hadn't really been pulled into a Korean drama since Secret Garden. & I have to say, I am all caught up & love how quick everything got resolved. Glad things didn't drag on for way too long. Tae Gong Sil got annoying at ep 15. But hoping for a really good ending. Typical Hong Sister drama haha.

All I could concentrate on was this drama all weekend. If I didn't have to work today, I would've finished it all since yesterday.

PS

I couldn't understand why I was so attracted to Ji Sub, then my sis found his mv today & I realized it's because he looks a lot like my bf :p Hyun Joong! haha.

Tae Gong Sil made me mad on ep 16. But, I kinda understand her in ep 17. Wished their kiss was better.

Ooowahhh, I finally finished this drama after doing a marathon of it this whole week.

Oowaahhhhh... what am I supposed to do without it now? *sniffsniff*

I really loved the storyline.  The acting was great, since the cast was perfect.  I must say this drama really reminded me of the lakorn of Mike and Margie - Raak Boon, in which it also dealt with the supernatural and solving cases.  I totally love them both!  The storyine was smooth, but I must admit ep 16 was like a whole ep on whether Gong Sil was going to go or not... I was thinking to myself.. were they really extending the drama by delaying the drama with that long debate?  I haven't really been watching any k-dramas.. but this was a nice one to watch, since they storyline was super fresh :)

Goodness, Ji Sub is still forever dashingly handsome.. I must say that this role didn't call for his acting much, but he did portray it really well.  I love how he always has and do a variety or roles :3  I will miss his signature "go away" hand movement.  kyahhh..

Gong Hyo Jin was probably the best actor out of this whole series.. she really did a good job on portraying a character with the 6th sense.. and she really did look dead/posessed/lack of sleep throughout :)

Seo I Guk <-- This is actually my first time I've seen him.. he left a good impression.  I kinda wished he still went after the big sun.. but I knew that eventually it'll be the little sun he'll get with.  He's so funny yet adorable.. I wish his character had more depth into him though.. like knowing his background and stuff.

I love all their signatures in this drama. His 'go away' hand. Her 'poke finger'. I love how he loves money hehe. I love when she gets possessed at his home because it always ends up with her waking up in his bed lol.  I also like how Hee Joo didn't ruin their relationship. It had more of just them...and the ghosts. The drama in it wasn't over the top, which I like.

dang it... I'm going through a withdrawal already.. oowahhhhhh

^and yes thank goodness it focused more on them than other stuff.. I was like omg.. he's getting married to omg who the heck is that girl appearing in the story to omg... it's heejoo's twin to... omg who is that guy who knows Gong Sil.. ahaha..

I might've dropped the drama if it went and focused on HeeJoo's storyline.. I'm glad they put in the necessary roles and focused on the main ones.. whoooo..

Yeah, like you, I just barely started on it last weekend. And caught up in the three days. My sister and I just decided to watch it out of the blue to see what all the hype was about. We were just going to watch 1 episode haha. Turned into 5 the first night! LOL. I now know that I won't rely on just the poster and description of a drama to determine if I should watch something or not. I would've missed out on a really good drama if I had done that.

ji sub's character in the master's sun reminds me of dokko jin in "the greatest love" with the same female lead gong hyo jin! they are really similar in their speech and actions if you have watched both dramas... and i LOVE both of it. not a fan of gong hyo jin but somehow her dramas are always a hit!

I thought their characters were similar also. I even re-watched TGL. Hahaha, They still have their own individuality though. I love Dokko Jin's "Mgaw" sound that he does when he has an "evil" plan. And So Ji Sub's "Goijo (go away)" (sp?) is too cute!

POPE's #1 MIA LUANG
I want to start this one because I heard great things about it, but...but...it's a horror comedy romance! I hate horror stuff. Haha. I need to have the courage to finish episode one. After 10 mins in I gave up because it's so scary! Haha.

I thought it was horror at was going to give up the first 10 mins too, but keep going!! It's not even scary after you get through the old lady ghost.
