Plot
Park Dong-Joo is a surgeon. His first love was a blind girl. Yoon Soo-Wan is an emergency 119 worker. She was blind when she was younger, but an eye transplant surgery allowed her to see.
Park Dong-Joo and Yoon Soo-Wan were each other's first love. They separated due to sad family histories. They meet again 12 years later.

OMG my weekend is ruined for good. Well Cubic, Bride of the Century, and Cunning Single Lady will end next weekend and Emergency couple just ended so I guess I will be okay? Hopefully whatever replace Cubic, Bride of the Century, Emergency Couple, and Cunning Single Lady will not make me interested because that will just kill me if I was to pick up more drama to watch. My 7 days of the week is filled with more than 2 drama per time slot. That means I am juggling among 10 shows. Anyways I think this is a first time that I am watching so many things simultaneously.
 
I didn't know this also debuted the same day as Hotel King.  How is it? I guess I will figure that on my own since I will watch it later tonight.

i just finished the first two episode. it is good and prepare yourself with a box of tissue if you are going to start. the two leads will grow up in episode 3 but i havent seen it yet. i love lee dong wook and lee da hae but this one is a lot better from cinematography to a more solid storyline.
 
i love kang ha neul. i didn't know he was 24. he looks a lot younger. i hope to see more of him in lead roles. i will miss him in angel eyes. I didn't know he was in heirs. i couldnt pass the third episode. man heirs had a large group of hot actors!!! i think i might just have to go back and watch it for lee min ho, woo bin, choi ji hyuk, and kang ha neul.

Finally caught up. I had to rewatch a few scenes because I cried so much I wasn't able to see the subtitles TT so sad. 
 
I don't think I am mentally prepare for everything to be reveal. It will be so much heartbreaking all around. sniff sniff

OMG screaming like a little girl right now. Soo Wan finally knows Dylan is Dong Joo!!! Goodness sake that felt like it took forever!!! Can't wait for tomorrow's episode.

Im not a fan either since BOF her character made me suicidal. Yes it was that bad. But she's ok here. She is really talented though when she is given the right role. She compose music, a directir and she is quite an artist. I know a lot about her just bc I am YG bias.

I really miss the sweet and kind Dong Joo! Adult DJ aka Dylan is making my blood boil. 
 
Ji Woon's mother is a little fishy. I think she could possibly be the hit and run person. She feels as if Dylan is a threat to her son Ji Woon's career. People like her shouldn't be doctors. Doctor saves lives, not for reputation. I hope Ji Woon won't turn nasty as the second lead. He's a sweetheart but he seriously needs to stop with his declaration that SW is his. They may be engaged but seemed like she was never a willing party. 
 
Seungri is my least favorite Big Bang member but he is starting to get on my better side. His comical character relieves the melodrama. 
 
I can't imagine when SW finds out, Jung Hwa (DJ's mother) was the one who donated her cornea. I believe if this is going to have a happy ending either SW gets blind and undergo another eye transplant or she loses her eyesight completely again.
 
A week of waiting again. Waiting really sucks.

I can't bear episode 7, my heart is racing. This is moving at such a fast pace that I don't know what's in store for the rest of the ride. I feel so hurt already, I can't imagine the pain the leads will go through. What should I do? I can't help it when I am watching Angel Eyes I am comparing it to Hotel King and when I am watching Hotel King I an comparing it to Angel Eyes. I have 2 weekend dramas that wants to kill me softly and a lakorn to mend my broken heart. Talk about a emotional roller coaster ride, I am feeling its full effect with all the recent Asian dramas and variety shows.

That is a smart choice LOL Lately I have been watching Kdramas one right after another. It's hard to make time, been losing sleep lately but it's all worth it haha
 
Just that this drama has a terrible soundtrack. I don't like any of the songs they have release so far.

Soo Wan's father is such a bastard. He only took care of Dong Joo because he killed his mother. Okay he didn't kill her because we know prior to the Director going in, someone was there before him and injected some kind of poison to kill Jung Hwa.
 
I loved the reunion of Hye Joo and Soo Wan. I cried like a baby. It was such a touching scene.

DJ's father saved SW. DJ's father died while trying to save SW's mother, SW's mother died too.  :cry1:SW's father attempted to kill DJ's mother. DJ's mother dies and now SW has her eyes.  Ah so sad. 
 
Things are slowly getting revealed which makes this very fast pacing. I am glad they didn't drag SW's father hiding DJ's letter. But why is their happiness so short!!! Oh gosh this drama doesn't want me to be happy or something. What did I ever do to you damn drama lol it seems like there is gonna be another hot mess. Need to catch up.

Oh mo! They did it!!! WOW!!! It doesn't happen often in Kdrama but why did they have to cut out the love making session!!! UGH!!! 
 
Oh snap Soo Wan found out she has Jung Hwa's eyes!!!
 
Ji Woon is pissing me off, oh I cannot wait to see his face when he finds out who is the real culprit behind Jung Hwa's death. He tried to make Dong Joo leave Soo Wan but ho ho he better be the one leaving when the truth comes out. I did feel bad that Soo Wan dumped him but that just vanish in episode 13.
 
Off to episode 14. =D

Lol, I guess I got some cut out love scenes to look forward to in ep. 13. This is such a good drama so far. I've hated GHS in BOF & Take Care of Us Captain. But she's really adorable here in AE. Glad she isn't doing that annoying chuckle/laugh thing that she did in TCOUC. That grated on my nerves so bad when I was watching that show.

I didn't like her in BOF either. Actually my entire Kdrama goers hated her including me. Not hate her but just her character. She was nothing like Makino. The Korean screw up one of my all time favorite manga/anime!
 
I didn't get to watch episode 16 yet. I heard many people went mad... I think I will wait until this upcoming weekend episode airs. I don't want to curse her character.

I'm on ep. 14 and also see comments of infuriated people about ep. 16. I hope it's nothing terribly heart wrenching, I've cried too much for this show already!! Soo Wan is so pitiful... she has to live the rest of her life with Sung Hwa's eyes whom her father... has killed to get. Whether he intended it or not, or had seconds thoughts after he did it, Soo Wan is going to be traumatized.  :cry:

I REALLY hope they release a FULL ver. It's so lovely! Esp. when it played while Dong Joo hugged Soo Wan from behind at the 119 station's roof top. (Ep.8)
