I'm actually a fan of the manga (even though I never completed it since I believe it's still ongoing) and when I heard this was going to be turned into a live action dorama... I got excited alright.  I really love the cast too!  They're such a beautiful sight to see.  Ishihara is adorable.. and Pi is doing well portraying the monk character.

I really love Mokomichi.. too bad he doesn't get the lead roles.  I love how he's playing the "American/westerner" character Author.. but they changed him by making him mixed.  I'm happy to see Furukawa Yuki in here too but.. he plays the character I don't like.. grrr.   Anyways, everyone is doing great with their use of English.  They're pretty good.

And.. the little brother is so adorable!!!  I forgot if he existed in the manga or not.. hmmm.

I really enjoy the ost as well, by Back Number.  It really grows on you.

I was in Tokyo about two weeks ago and I went to Fuji TV's headquarters in Odaiba. They're currently promoting this dorama together with Mutsu (with Atsushi Ito, Nijitama Hidetoshi and Hideaki Ito) - as in it's EVERYWHERE. My friend recommended that I watch it as it is a good mix of comedy and romance. I loved Satomi Ishihara in Hanayome to Papa - i think she really plays "genki" roles so well. And I'm guessing Yamapi plays a cool calm and collected (read: deadpan) guy in this one so that would be a good mix. I'll probably watch this soon!

^ Oh wow.. really?? How fun and neat!!! :D :D :D

You should watch it.  I find the flow to be really nice.  It does follow the manga somewhat hehe.  You are definitely going to love the cast!  They're great in terms of looks and acting.

I believe the drama is currently on the 6th or 7th episode, so you'll have time to catch up before it ends.

You know while yamapi spent most of his career playing serious and deadpan roles. The one I love him the most is Akira in Nobuta.

^ I will forever love his Akira role!  It's through that dorama that I became a fan of his, besides Code Blue.

I'm assuming there should be around 9 or 10 episodes only, since J-Doramas are usually short.

Anyways... omg, the addition of the brother... ooowwwaaahhhhhh OMG!  I'm going to go bonkers.. what is going to happen to Takane~~~  but hey, we get more sweet scenes with Takane & Junko now :3 :3 :3
