I've been dreaming for a Queen In Hyun's Man Thai remake. I know it's off topic but you mentioned it
so I need to comment. This is one of my favorite Kdramas of all time and I think if some production from Thailand will remake this, that would be a bomb since it has all of the elements. If I would compare this to MLFTS, by miles, I would select Queen In Hyun's Man.

OT: Me too! I think it's the ideal drama to remake, I've always said I've wanted Kim & Nadech to be in it too lol. That's the one I genuinely believe Broadcast should've brought because although it's a popular drama it's not on the same scale as the one's we've seen being remade so far (although it is the drama that started pushing tvN to the forefront), so there's a whole lot more lee-way with it too plus the story is I believe much more stronger. It has a solid story and the skinships, the fluffiness are cute and not awkward. I remembered before MLFTS was compared to this and I always say that I both love the two dramas however, if I would choose, I would chose QIM plus it has a better ending for me.
Yup, hopefully but I wish it will not be Ananda's production because for sure, they can't get an artists from Ch3. I actually can see Pope-Bella nailing this. I'm not watching their lakorn right now but I'm seeing clips of BPS everywhere in Instagram and FB so I think they're cute and suitable pair for this remake if ever.

Nadech and Kim would be okay too. But before Cheon Song Yi, I've wanted Matt for this role, tho. She can slay the funny and dramatic scenes. But the guy should be a bit older.
She's looking great and stands with poise without the coat, really. With it, you can't even see her S-line.

Again, as for the outfits, I don't know why the Thai production team didn't asked or explained to the Korean side that these outfits might not be applicable in a tropical country. They need to remember that there is no winter in Thailand and the original MLFTS was set in winter which explains the coats and jackets. Maybe DMJ is so alien enough not to feel the heat, I guess.

I still think it's their perception. Because the PH director said the korean side wants no change in the story line. Thus, the exact scenes and sequence. They didn't say anything regarding the clothes. My thoughts, exactly. The Fated To Love You (Korean ver) is entirely different from the original (Taiwanese). They only had the concept, and character.
They had this restrictions when the Filipino version was made, too. But they got a long-haired p'ek and the n'ek didn't resemble JJH much, except that she's funny and one of the leading actress in PH.
I don't know why they have to be so strict in this particular drama. Maybe because it became such a huge craze. That even chicken and beer (Filipino version had this combo, too), were sold like crazy in China and Korea. I won't be surprised if these will be Matt's favorite in this lakorn too.

OT: The reason why I've always envisioned Kim & Nadech for QIHM is because they've got the height difference too lol. It's either that or Autumn Concerto, particularly those two that I've always wanted for NK if they were given a remake.
As for this drama I was thinking does the time period Achira land on earth happen before or after Bpoop Phaeh Saniwaat? Asking this because in the Kdrama there were a number of cameo's throughout its run, so if Broadcast were smart and BPS falls after then they could always work one in. The boat/wedding scene had a cameo by Park Jung Ah who played the bride, if I was the team I would've asked Margie to cameo with her husband since she just got married. It's these details I would be working on and I wish they'd change the chicken & beer to some comfort food from Thailand instead, I really hope they do. Don't get me started on the clothing, I've been complaining since the fittings (I'm sure everyone here is so sick of me and my comments lol)
