[Ch3] Bpoop Phaeh Saniwaat (Broadcast Thai) : Pope Thanawat / Bella Ranee

Honey, Hot Got is mine first. You'll get your turn when I'm done with him (which is never) lol go to PJ or hot guy for now! Hahaha
When did you claimed "hot got wifey" title? I can't go on vacay and everyone start claiming my men. @phatman is claiming Mia Luang to Pope and @Rachfull is the head-perv. You are Hot got Wifey and @KitKat516 is all over MY Weir. I am lost on who is claiming Nadech and JamesJi - Oh, it's still Yaya and Taew since their lakorns are making people jin so I'll wait. :risas3:

I am sure I am missing others since I haven't read all the pages but you all have no mercy.... I took a little break and zooooom.... you all move in on my collection.:p

Yeah Scarlett Heart was like a volcanic explosion.
Yup something or the other keeps blowing up and grabbing attention every one or 2 years but few things have the longevity value to them.
10 miles, boss and me, dao kaew duen, mussaya, neung dao, CP are the blow up ones great lakorns but the reason for blow up is probably hype or nostalgia or lack of quality content etc.
And then there are iconic ones which will be mentioned out of the blue and stay relevant even decades after airing like the hana yori dango/meteor garden/boys over flowers, bu bu jing xin, jam loey rak, and the best BPS

Does anyone else have any iconic recommendations

I don't know if you've found the song yet. The name of the song in Thai " Tang Rak Tang Gliat" Here the video

Sorry I am a little late in reply but THANK YOU so much for this. I did find it and saw both male and female versions of the song. I love the original because Kong's voice is so sweet and warm but I like Bodyslam version too.

I also liked this cover.

Can you tell I listened and watch this song's different versions since Got lip-sync it in the car? It took me a few days to get that song out of my head.
What's up with Hot Got and sappy oldie songs anyway? LOL

Hahahhaa so funny you! His pimple! hahaha...... is that scene of him & Diana Filpo?
So you can speak Thai too? Where's the clip?
I do. I read about 50% too..... I lived in Thailand for 6 years but went to International School so didn't have to study in Thai and my reading is a bit rough.
When I get lazy to try, I put the comments or article in google translate and listen to it while reading along with the words. lol. It's faster and I am impatient. lol

I should tell you that I never really watched Thai lakorns in Thailand. LOL I started to watch them in the States with thai friends and family because we miss Thailand and I got stuck in the lakorn world.

Iconic? Does it matter which country? Because there's both the Korean and Thai Full House--Full House Thai was popular in its time, but I think it's more iconic among international fans. I know it's the lakorn that introduced me to Thai dramas, as is the case with a lot of foreign viewers. I didn't even know lakorns existed until I ran across it on youtube :risas3: The Korean/original version will always be iconic, as it contributed to the spread of Hallyu. Goong/Princess Hours (NOT the Thai version-- that one sucked) would definitely be considered iconic. My Princess, Coffee Prince, Secret Garden, Sungkyunkwan Scandal (all Korean) are iconic and AWESOME dramas. I know Descendants of the Sun was insanely popular, but Idk if it'll be considered iconic.

Taiwan's It Started With A Kiss and the sequel They Kiss Again are definitely iconic. The story itself, Itazura Na Kiss, was a manga series that was made into an anime, three Japanese dramas, three Taiwanese dramas, a Korean drama, and a Thai drama. I thought the original Taiwanese version was the best, but others like the Thai version.

As for iconic Thai dramas, I don't know if I'm fully qualified to discuss them, since I usually shun the older dramas. The new ones are more westernized, which makes them more understandable and relatable for me. I speculate that the 4 Huajai Haeng Koon Kao series could be considered iconic, and perhaps Anne's Sood Sanaeha. Kluen Cheewit 2017 is iconic among international fans, I know it was a number of foreigners' first Thai drama. Perhaps Pin Anong as well, and Tawipob.

Now that you mention it, I'm surprised that Thailand hasn't remade Boys Over Flowers. They've done Coffee Prince, I know, Itazura Na Kiss, Autumn in My Heart, Goong, Full House, and Secret Garden (which is in the works). You'd think they'd do BOF :confused12:

At least you have both feet in two boats as Luang Sorasak had once said! You couldn't leave Thailand even if you tried.
But movies that's exceptionally special & beautiful are something to be enjoyed no matter where or who we are. Now we know we have one more person to tell us what Pope is saying! I consider us lucky to have met in this thread. Hugs xxxx

@naimisha @lakornkiki @phatman @Rachfull Wow you guys are so fascinating, you've watched so many and able to pick the quality ones. Where was I the last 10 years???!! Ahhhhhh...... But ok better late than never. Am making a list now of all these names you're giving - the Thai ones, because I'm watching Latin & European movies too. Strangely didn't you manage to fall in love with any of the other heroes? Por Date, Got .... they're filling up every woman's dreams now.
