Gaw... poor Nai. I can't stop feeling so sad for him. First, he thought his mother didn't want him and abandoned him. Then Kae left him for money instead of choosing love. She deemed him to be of less value. He kept the ring as a remind not to let anyone tell him his worth. Last, Nok is similiar and look down on him. She viciously attacks his self-worth, background, status etc. Later on you will see this and his breaking point is at a thin level considering how patient he had been with her. It's a cruel lesson that he doesn't want to experience a third time. That's why he will be harder on her.

They changed it from the spoiler I listened to. In the spoiler it said Nok's mom took him after not being able to stand how he was living.

she got drugged by Pen and the other bad guy and Nai saved her from being rape. (Fortunately) Pen thought she was all smart and got some reporters to take pix of her thinking of embarrassing her but of course it backfired since the pix they took was of Nok and Nai. Nai told her parents that he was willing to save her reputation and they happily let him since they saw no one other than him who could control her lol
