shouldnt it be free??
i mean, gonna charge people to see hmong people
when they already see hmong people.
im just saying. nothing bad intended.

and because if it's on cable,
then we'll have to order it?? like that???
i wouldn't mind seeing the hmong channel,
but no bootsy english speaker when it's hella hmong time.
you know what i mean?
they should have a hmong speaking time and then a english
speaking time if it is needed, but yah.

thanks for the info.
thanks.

No it is not on cable. Its on a satellite cable network thing. You only have to pay one payment for the satelite cable box and then you can watch the programs for free. They only charge for the satelite. You dont pay monthly.

$450! So, I pay a one time fee and will never ever ever be billed for using their satellite? Cause my hubby will kill me if they start billing me every month. Give me more info if you can and I'll keep up to date with their website too. As of now, it doesn't say much. Thanks!

they wont bill you monthly charges. Koua Lee (CEO of Hmong TV) said that 450 is for the whole satellite cable box. and you can watch it 24/7.

correct me if I'm wrong, but the satellite is just for watching one channel, which is Hmong network, or does it comes with other channels too?

i have the iptv cable box and it cost 375 *one time fee*, installment is include too. the sad thing is .. i have to pay separately for the lakorn/variety channel and they'll send in a card for you to punch in.

anyway, just the hmong channel itself and it cost this much, that's quite expensive.

for those who brought this, are the programs good?
what kind of shows do they have on there
i know that they're just starting but i wanna know if there's anything good on there.

i don't care if it's just one channel, as long as it's 24/7 hmong all the time. is the hmong channel like what ciajsia's video about? like current events, entertainment, movies, sports and so on?

that is so expensive! we have dsl connect to cable and it's not even that expensive. can't it be a bit less than that amount of money? i mean, it's the first time on television. they should have at least start off the bottom and see if everyone enjoy watching it and then will raise the bill.

SO, my question is? For anyone that are more familiar with this device, since the website didn't help much. Is this device only available and viewed within California - Minnesota area or is anyone from any state able to order this device and watch it from where ever they're from? Because at first, I thought, well, if I order it and I'm from North Carolina, I can watch it. But then, someone said something about having an installer come and install it for you...who are the installers?

i believe the device can be used within the US, as long as there is someone who can install it.
i'm not sure who the installer is... but if you ask around there might be people... b/c i live in wisconsin and my mom ordered one from i believe St. paul and she called the people she ordered from and they said there is someone in wisconsin who could install it for her...

hmmm. a hmong network is interesting but honestly, the 450 is way expensive...why can't it be free like other "regular" channels since the hmong population is pretty big in some areas such as sacrament, fresno, etc.

i understand why it's not free. even cable tv/satellite isn't free. we have to pay an installation and a monthly bill. by paying $450 a one time fee isn't bad at all. it's just that we have to pay a lump sum in the begining. i'll get it when i get more info in it.
