Surprise me that this lakorn make the higest ratings. Love Yaya but so far i think this lakorn was okay. Im not a big fan of action lakorn thats probably why.

Tawan Deard is the first action drama of CH3 that have done well in Average Audience Ratings.
i've NEVER been a fan of thai action lakorns. im only watching this for yaya, mark and pope.
recently when i watch it online i just search and skip to mark-yaya parts. i dont mind this couple, but im more of a yadech fan tho. the flashbacks to when they were little, the kisses on the forehead, the hugs and the jealousy scenes are good/adorable. OH and cant forget the song that 'nalika tai' by yaya i have it on replay.
pope is adorable in here, funny too. i'm also watching his sitcom with noona, funny as. can't wait to see more of him.
its moving at a good pace, yaya knows who suer really is, wonders whats going to happen next, when will yaya get shot ?

I think people still have fever for 4HJHKK cast. TD has a huge fans base from Mark, Yaya, Mint C. Pope and many veteran actors.
TD is also the first lakorn that shot in HD and channel 3 is heavily promoting this lakorn as part of the 4+1 Superstars.

^^Same here. I don't watch it for the action. I usually skip through all the action/shooting scenes, which are alot. Lol. The action scenes and all that aren't too bad in this drama. It's better than MOST action dramas. I think Tawan Deard has a lame storyline, but it's a really good drama because everyone plays their parts so well and the chemistry is great.
I understand most people think Yaya's character is snobby and doesn't treat Seua too well (verbally) but I'm glad she doesn't in a way. If she became soft to him, it would have been her that's hurt the most when all truths come out (hypothetically). If she had gave in to him in that one romantic scene at the end of ep. 7, she would have felt more betrayed.

LOL, the "ninja guy". His stare and eyes just gives me the shivers. But congrats to the cast and production of TD. I truly feel happy for them by achieving such high ratings.

i fully agree with you mintwix.I feel like Thai culture idealizes the nang aek image too much. When a nang aek gets old or become unpopular and takes on any other role besides the "nang aek" role, it's like they suddenly fall off their pedestal. It's a shame. They need more people like Ploy Cherman who doesn't consider herself a nang aek or nang rai, but an ACTRESS.
