What's going on? This drama went downhill real fast.
Tbh i wish they just focus on the mystery like what they did in the beginning. The pace are getting slow and it ruin the thrill of watching a mystery investigation drama. I dont know how it was in the original novel but it feel like they really trying hard to add more romance to this drama which I think was unnecessary. Up until the current ep i will say its not bad but this drama can be better if only they just focus on the mystery.

Is there any romance now? lol I didn’t watch recent ep yet tho. I just wish they lessen screen time of Luang In’s deceased wife, I just hate that trope in dramas in general. Yeah, he loved her a lot, now move on.

Really? I thought there should be more romance...only 6-7 more episodes and hardly any good communication between Luang In and Mae Pudsorn.

Its not that i dont like more romance but i wish they made it a serious romance rather than the bickering teasing kind of romance. Dont get me wrong, the romance that they show right now are entertaining too but personally i prefer if they did serious angst kind of romance. But what bother me the most is the slow pace (start in ep4-7). The comedy (pudsorn family) and Luang in scene with his ex wife are what i find most entertaining during these slow pace ep. You can really feel Luang In sadness. I love that part. And i know they need to interrogate people to find the murderer, but i wish they made that part a bit faster so that we can feel the thrill. But Ep 8 start to get exciting again for me because you can see the changes in Luang in and Pudsorn relationship and they start to rush with their investigation again.

Maybe its also the way this show is shot, I am bothered by how staged it looks! The authenticity is not there. I thought by now Mae Pudsorn and Luang In would be betrothed already...no? Was that in the novel?

-_- Khun In is getting on my nerves, he is so hardheaded. With only 5 more episodes, I don't know if I want Mae Pudsorn to end up with him. I like her with Mr. Robert now. Khun In does not deserve a intelligent woman like Mae Pudsorn, if she ends up with him, her career as a doctor is over.

Tbh im glad the pace started to get faster again. Mystery investigation drama should let the audience feel the thrill like this. But LOL.. yeah Luang indra are stubborn as hell.. but I will cut him some slack because he is someone with mental problem. I like the part where his mom and his friend, Saen? feeling sad seeing his pitiful drunk self and said that his mental problem are not getting better etc. I rarely see in lakorn where they address such things. Usually the character just do whatever they want acting like crazy person assaulting the FL/people like it is a normal things to do. I dont know why but seeing they addressing such things makes me less annoyed with Luang indra character now. This character need help. And Pudsorn, a doctor are the one to help him.

Few more ep to go..I really want to know how they conclude this drama especially Pudsorn and Luang Indra romance. There are 2 version that i saw on twitter/ig - (1) I saw some fans said that Luang Indra will get sick and thats where he begging Pudsorn to treat him. That is his karma for always being a bad person towards Pudsorn and from there they learn to understand about each other etc. (2) There are also so called leaked spoiler saying that Luang Indra got stabbed when he try to save Pudsorn, so Pudsorn help him and they start to realize their feeling. But some said this is not legit. So.... who already read the novel? which one follow the novel?

I wanted to like this because the trailer looked really interesting and it's rare to see a mystery/detective period drama. I thought it would like an old TVB series, Witness to a Prosecution. Sadly, just another typical lakorn.

I think the biggest mistake is that they only have one mystery lasting for what 16 episodes? It gets really tedious and characters that are supposed to be smart, come off as...not so smart. What they should've done was have mini arcs with n'ek solving multiple cases and the bigger mystery that lasts the whole drama building in the background until the last couple of episodes. Most crime-solving dramas (k-dramas) that I've seen do this.

The only good thing I can say is Yaya is really pretty in period costumes.

-_- I give up on this lakorn. I'm pretty disappointed with the story. With only two more episodes, I don't know how Khun In will redeem himself from being a total jerk all the time. For the first time, I'm annoyed with Nadech's character. How Mae Pudsorn and Khun In ends up together eventually is not going to be convincing since the build up isn't there.

I haven’t watched this… just been seeing the clips on yt. I thought the show is focusing on the case & mystery, that there won’t be romance sub-plot. I feel like Yaya’s acting is better here, compared with Nadech. Nadech’s over-the-top acting bothers me.

Nadech are on and off. But it gets better in every episode and depending on scene. Since the beginning, he done very well in a scene where he need to show serious side, sorrow scene & cute scene. While he is on and off when he need to show continuous grumpy angry side. And..they insert Rom-Com in this drama.
