Maybe cus it’s a teen drama. I didn’t watch it so idk. Lol. I usually don’t like a lot of the fantasy mainland China that most ppl likes.

Didn't the male lead said he won't date someone like his co-star because he doesn't think she's pretty? The fans were having a field day with that. I watched a few episodes...skipped to episode 20 then watch the ending lol. My patience with C-drama is very thin, unless things fall into place just right I am all over the place watching something.

I like Yue Yue but ALSB is so difficult to get into. I could watch teen dramas endlessly but not this one. The FL character is waaay too dense. Plus, after the YHT scandal I can't like ML. I sincerely tried to watch it 3 times. Got to like, ep. 6.

Everyone and their mothers are praising a love so beautiful and I am like ??? I can't stand the type of actresses like Xen Yue. Could not get into her in bleh meteor garden cversion (Japanese version stay unbothered). Plus her character... I understand why people like "Love 020". Love story is appealing. Lead characters chemistry was there and drama was interesting.

If you want to try another school drama give, "Wait My Youth" a chance. It's the better school drama out of the ones recently released. Huge plus is that it's on YouTube.

FL is more tolerable. Good chemistry and it's not draggy.

I like Shen Yue. I think she's adorable. I liked HYT, but after his scandal I just couldn't get into him anymore. The chemistry was good. ALSB wasn't too bad, but after so many youth/college C-dramas after that I've seen better. lol I partially read the novel, and personally I prefer the novel version more.

Loool did he say she was unattractive ? I have a question, people really call him handsome ? A zhang Bin Bin or a Xu Kai or a William Chan are Handsome imo even a Chen Xing Xu is better than that plain boy lol

Yeah, apparently he told a gf that he thought YY was ugly. I don't see the hype in YHT either.

@S.J.M I love Zhu Yi Long and when I saw heroine would end up with bloated Feng Shao Feng I bailed out. I guess I was not the only one that did not buy main lead chemistry. I don't like dramas that force a pair onscreen only cause they're a couple in RL.
