anybody know what kind of dvd player that can play data disc? (like you download a movie then burn the file to a cd as data)

I would like to know that too. I think some toshiba dvd players do...but i am not certain...some that i have came across to says that it plays AVI and DIV X...but most of the files that we download and burn into data disc are WMV...so that means that you must convert it first...!

yes you can! I have one and the cool thing is it even has a usb plug in it... Pioneer DV-600AV-K is the brand that I have hope that helps!
