Geez...thanks everyone...Snow already felt bad that some people were making cruel comments and she was just wondering why...now, ya'll made her feel even worst...she ASKED NICELY too.

Snow...I used to wonder why too, but now to make things easy, I just take it as anti-hmong woke up on the wrong side of the bed...it's better than to bash her, cause she comes back twice as harsh...haha...she's good at making me angry sometimes...not at her personally, but on her views...but then again, those are her own...and if she's responding to you too, then you're good at what you're doing too!!!

Even I hate a lot of people of other ethnicity, but doesn't mean all. No ethnicity is perfect, including Lao.

i have to agree on this part.. there are so many young hmong girls getting marry young and having 2-3 babies already .. unfortunately, i'm not one of them ..LOl .. but anyway, what i want to say was that the YOUNGER hmong now - know how hard life was and try to avoid taking the same route as the teens back in the 90's ..THE YOUNGER GIRLS change quite a bit these past few years .. let's just hope it'll be like this .. LOl ..

as for depending on welfare, i work at a clinic .. and what we do there is provide services to middle/poor class families and it's quite surprising that there are as many WHITE ppl that depend on MA, welfare, jobless, or everything else just like some of the HMONG and MEXCAN ppl. so i think on this issue, we shouldn't judge each other ethicities., we all seem to share the same equal needs as everyone else.

also, i have to agree on the part on those ppl who keep lying that they're this or that or to be exact .. FAKE DISABILITY and gets welfare from the states. i for one is STRONGLY against it. i worked my butt off and i believe if they can move around and able to supports themselves, they need to work just like me. I HATE PPl who depend on the govt and don't work to support their families or their kids ..*but we can't be perfect either* ..

Cause Hmongs are a minority...see, there you go again...aren't you even at least angry at other minorities living off on welfare? Majority of those families don't speak English...how do you suppose they find good paying jobs? If you've ever been on welfare, then you'll know what I'm talking about...

the being on welfare cus you can't find a good paying jobs to pay your bills are ok ceda.. and hopefully they aren't on it for 10 years or more...even 5 is a little too much.... sure they need help.. but if that is so, i so hope those people aren't wearing name brand clothes or sitting in the indian casino in front of the slot machines.. but anyways i know plenty of parents who don't speak english or very little english.. they're making about $8 an hr at some factory or assembly line.. but they're not on welfare.. they may have been when they first came like 10 years ago..


anyways.. glad to hear that the younger younger generations arent conforming to their parents beliefs of marriage at such a young age..

She lives in MN, one of the most populated states with Hmong people. 90% of the school is probably Hmong...of course it's obvious that they would have the most Hmongs to get into college out of the other non-hmongs in the school.

natty...you haven't seen these hmong folks...i'm not a casino person but i've went a few times with my sister and bro in law...you ought see the OGs...lol...everywhere you turn there are OGs gambling away their welfare money...and by OGs i mean ages 40+...who are still capable of working but nope...they lied about being disabled...live on governmental support and go gamble every first of the month until they run out of money and then wait for the next check...

EXACTLY!...it's only YOUR school...not the hmong community as a whole...you can't base YOUR school on the whole community and just because they graduated from HS doesn't mean they're college material and made it in college
