Hello everyone i'm showing you all how to make a gif in the newer version of photoshop.
A way to do this is Go to File>Import>Video Frames to Layers.
*********NOTE***************
To use this part your video has to be in .MOV format in order to work!

It's just a way to convert your videos into pictures to make your GIF.
Then you can skip the clipping parts below.

This is a longer way to do this. [Note* If you your program for this doesn't work, then use this method]
--OR--
You can skip this part below if your program works. [Meaning like your photoshop program could convert your video to pictures in one file]

Start your fixing & adding decorations to your gif banner------------

Here's the final outcome [I accidently deleted this so here it is]

Here's some other I made with the new info I wrote:

^it should work the same way -- i actually like cs5 ways of doing animation -- it's so much quicker but sadly, my version expired and now i'm back to cs3 lol

The video has to be in .mov format.
A good converter would be Iwisoft Converter or if you have sony vegas pro you can convert it to that file.

The corners of the picture should have these square/boxes so you can resize it.

Talking about photoshop cs5. I downloaded the free version from youtube. If you click under show more description, you just download the program for free. I did it the other day and I was so happy!
