Maybe every pagaent have different requires, but one year they try to have my sisters enter and I was reading the requirements. I know for sure you have to be single, between age 16 to 24, never married or divorced. They probably wish you were a virgin but who can go to proving that. I dont think they care too much about weight, because there was nothing about it in the paper. As far as preparation goes, you must be prepared with at least 2 to 3 songs or dance or what ever you plan to do as your talent. Must have a laos, hmong, and a evening gowns outfit. Back then anyone can enter in without a sponser, but now they require a sponser, which you can use your parents as sponser too. And you must prepare yourself to answer questions. You best go and watch all the hmong pageant videos you can, a lot of the questions are the same every year.
Like if you win, what will you do to make the homng community better....you know.
