IBELONGTOYOU: 2.1

Synopsis
The sisters came from a rich family, a wealthy background. However, they were only sisters by blood.
Their personalities couldn't be more different than each other. And then Daniel comes along into Aerin's life.
Arada, seeing the two flirt, grows to hate Daniel's guts more than anything in the world.
She later learns from a friend that Daniel's a playboy.
Afraid that her little sister would get hurt, she tries everything to stop the two from meeting.
Unexpectedly, she meets Thomas for a second time.
Thomas was a kind, honorable man. He was perfect for Aerin.

But how would she convince Thomas to fall for Aerin? And what happens when she herself falls for Daniel?

Prologue
"Stop whining and just do your homework, Aerin," Arada ordered.
Aerin stuck out her tongue. "Easy for you to say, you're a geek! A nerd! A-"
"That's enough," Arada warned. "If you want Dad to be proud, just do it."
"Daddy's already proud of me! I probably make more money at one modeling gig that some people get for a month."
Arada sighed. "That's no excuse for being lazy!"
"I'm not lazy!" Aerin protested. "I've been working my butt off for a new car!" She smirked. "I earned it."
"Right, Dad should be so proud of his daughter. 22 and still in college," Arada replied sarcastically.
"Shut up, age is just a number," Aerin shot back. Her cellphone rings. She answers it. "Hello?"
"Excuse me, but is this Aerin Chaiyadej?" the man asked.
Aerin raised an eyebrow questioningly. "Yes, why? And who are you?"
"Sorry for not introducing myself, I am Daniel Cho. I wanted to talk to you about a TV series I wanted to cast you in."
"TV series? In Thailand?" Aerin asked.
"Yes, in Thailand," Daniel replied. "Is there a time when you are free to discuss these matters?"
Aerin pointed at her schedule, motioning for Arada to get it for her.
"What?" Arada mouthed.
Aerin pointed again at the schedule.
Arada sighed, then threw the schedule at her twin sister.
"Thanks," Aerin mouthed. She opened up the small book. "Mr. Cho?"
"Yes?"
"I am free tomorrow, if you are-" She was cut short.
"Alright, tomorrow it is. Do you know Park Avenue?" he asked.
"Yes, I do," Aerin replied. "Why?"
"Meet me there, on the 2nd floor at 2."
"Alright, thanks. Bye." With that, Aerin hit the END button.
"Who was it?" Arada asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Some director," Aerin replied. "Oh yeah, I can't go to lunch with you anymore."
"Fine, I'll go by myself," Arada mumbled.
"Sorry sis," Aerin apologized.
Arada nodded. "If it weren't work-"
Aerin laughed. "I know, I know. You would like totally not let me go."

------------------------------

"Gosh, I can't believe she ditched me!" Arada exclaimed.
Jakajan laughed. "Be happy she didn't tell you the last minute."
"If she did that, I would so totally murder her."
"You wouldn't murder your only sister, would you?"
"Sometimes, it's actually very tempting," Arada admitted.
"So where is she now?"
"Probably with the director."
Jakajan looked around. "What do you want to eat?"
"Anything," Arada replied. "I'm not that hungry anymore."
"Alright, how about Japanese?"
"Sure, whatever."
Jakajan smiled. "Well...you go on ahead, I have to go to the toilet."
Arada rolled her eyes. "Yeah, sure. Whatever."
But before she reached the restaraunt, she suddenly bumps into someone.
"Sorry," the man mumbles under his breath.
"No, I'm sorry. I didn't see where I-" She looked up. "...was going."
There was a moment of silence. "Uhh, I'm Thomas Choi."
Arada smiled. "I'm Arada Chaiyadej." She spots the movie tickets in his hands.
Thomas smiled sheepishly. "I'm waiting for a friend to go watch a movie."
"Aren't you afraid of the swine flu?" she asked him.
Just at that moment, Jakajan comes back from the toilet. "I thought I told you to go on ahead, Arada."
Arada rolled her eyes. "I was going to, ok?" She turns to Thomas. "I've...gotta go. Bye, it was nice meeting you."

Chapter 1.1
"Tell me again why we're not going to the restaraunt?"

Arada shot Jakajan a mournful look. "You said so yourself that you heard that Daniel Cho was a bad guy."

Jakajan raised an eyebrow. "I said he was a playboy, but that doesn't mean he's bad."

"Same thing," Arada replied. "Come on, we have to get to Park Avenue!"

"But I'm hungry!" Jakajan whined.

"We can buy drive-thru McDonalds, alright?"

"Fine," Jakajan gave in.

Some time later, they arrived at Park Avenue.

------------------------------

Aerin sat at one of the tables, constantly looking at her watch. Where was this producer?

Suddenly, a man walks up to her. "Excuse me, but by any chance are you Ms. Chaiyadej?" he asked.

She nodded. "Yes, my name's Aerin. And you are...."

"Sorry for not introducing myself again, I am Daniel Cho, chairman of CH6."

Aerin smiled. "Nice to meet you ka."

Daniel sat down on the chair opposite of Aerin.

Just at that moment, Arada comes barging into the restaraunt. "AERIN!?!"

All the guests turned their heads and glared at Arada as if she were crazy.

Arada rose and walked to her sister, embarrased. "What is it, P'Da? Don't you see that all the guests are staring at you?"

"We're going home," Arada ordered, dragging Aerin by the arm.

Aerin turned to Jakajan. "Is there something I don't know?"

Jakajan tried hiding her face. "Sorry...I kind of told your sister that I heard people saying Mr. Cho was a playboy."

Aerin stared at her sister's friend, bewildered. "So?"

"Arada overreacted and said that he wouldn't let you mess with a bad man."

Arada made a face. "You said so yourself Jakajan! You said people don't meddle with him..."

"I said people don't talk to him, but only because there is nothing to say." She sighed. "And I was just assuming that he was a playboy because my friend saw him going-"

"Oww! P'Da, my hair!" Aerin whined.

Unbeknownst to the sisters and Jakajan, Daniel had followed them outside into the parking lot.

However, before he could say anything, Arada had already sped off into the distance.

HERE'S A MINI UPDATE, I WAS BORED.

Chapter 1.2
"Why the hell did you do that for?" Aerin complained.

Arada rolled her eyes. "For your own safety, now shut up."

"But I don't care! He was going to offer me a job and YOU blew it."

"How can you be so sure?" Arada asked.

"He really is a producer, Da," Jakajan confirmed. "My friend works for him."

Arada shot Jakajan a what-did-you-say-that-for glare before returning to her conversation with Aerin. "Now listen to me Aerin."

"I already know wht you're going to say, sis."

"Then I don't have to repeat myself that Dad put me in charge here, right?"

"Yada yada yada. Alright, I get it." She slumped herself against the seat. "Jeez."

"Don't act like that to me, Aerin," Arada warned. "Or else."

Aerin turned. "Or esle what? Are you going to kill me? Burn me?" She laughed. "Or are you going to accuse me of witchcraft?"

"Where is this all coming from?" Arada asked.

"From you being an asshole," Aerin fumed. "I'm going to meet him again, you'll see."

"No you are not!"

"Yes I am!"

"I'm not letting you go anywhere near this producer."

"You'll see," Aerin sneered. "I always get my way."

"What if I lock you in a room? Will you still be able to go to the producer?"

"P'DA!"

"What, huh?"

Aerin sighed. "Why are you treating me this way? Daniel seems nice and everything."

Arada rolled her eyes. "Playboys ALWAYS seem nice, Aerin."

"How do YOU know?" Aerin shot back, suspicious.

"I- er..."

She laughed. "I already know the ending to that sentence, too. It's because of Peter, isn't it?"

Arada didn't answer.

"It's Peter! You're acting all over protective because of one guy! Sis!"

Arada turned, her eyes red. "I told you not to mention that name, Aerin."

"Why can't you just admit it that you're hurt?" She sighed. "You don't always have to act as the overprotective sister, you know."

"But I am the overprotective sister."

"You didn't use to be like this."

Arada sighed. "Well, things change."

Aerin stared into Arada's eyes. "Even us?"

"Let's not talk about this now, Aerin. We can talk at home."

"But I don't want to go home!" Aerin argued. "I didn't even eat lunch yet!"

"Fine, we'll go to a restaraunt. Your choice."

Aerin's eyes sparkled. "Really?"

"Really."

On the way to Siam Paragon...

"Sis, change the song! I hate ballads!" Aerin whined.

"But I like it, Aerin. Now stop talking so I can concentrate on the road."

Aerin, annoyed, changed the channel to 8.

Arada rolled her eyes, changing the channel back.

"Sis! You've been listening to these things for the whole day! Can I please listen to 105.5?"

"No," Arada replied. She shot her sister a warning. "Don't talk."

Aerin reached her hand to the controller and changed the channel again.

Arada turned. "Aerin! Stop being so rebellious!"

"I'm not being rebelious!"

Jakajan eye's were wide. "Da, CAR!"

But it was too late. Arada swiveled across the street and crashed into another car.

-----------------------------

Arada opened one eye, trying to adjust to the light. "Where am I?"

A nurse walked up to Arada's bed. "You and your sister were involved in a car accident."

Aerin moaned. "Oww!"

Arada quickly rose. "Aerin, are you ok?"

"I'm fine," Aerin replied. She tried moving, but some unknown pain shot right through her left leg. "Oww!"

The nurse hurried over to Aerin. "Miss, please don't move. You fractured your leg bone due to the car accident."

Aerin's eyes were wide. "I what?"

Arada looked around. "Do you know who brought us here?"

"The man you crashed your car into," the nurse replied.

"Is he ok?" Arada asked.

Aerin rolled her eyes. "Who cares?"

Suddenly, the door opened. "Who cares, eh?"

"And who are you?" Aerin asked.

Thomas sighed. "I brought you here."

Arada's face became red. "I'm so sorry for my sister's words." But then she recognized the man's face.

Chapter 1.3
"Aerin~ Apologize to Thomas this instant!" Arada ordered, staring her twin sister down.

Aerin shook her head furiously. "Why should I? Thailand, like any other place, is a free country."

Thomas rolled his eyes. "It's ok, Arada." He turns. "Wait, I was about to ask~" He was cut short.

"Why we look alike, right?" Aerin put in. She laughed. "Only an idiot wouldn't know that we were twins."

Arada sighed. "Aerin, why don't you go see if Jakajan is alright, ok?"

"I don't want to go!" Aerin argued. "Besides, I can't walk, remember?"

The nurse, who had been preparing the medicine, quickly went outside and back in again, this time with a wheelchair. "Miss~"

Aerin rolled her eyes. "I'm not going to sit in a WHEELCHAIR. Get me crutches."

Sighing, the nurse nodded.

Arada turned to her twin sister. "Aerin, be nice!"

"Since when was I nice? You know me. I'm the tomboy, the model, the idiot who hasn't finished college!"

"AERIN~"

"Don't, I already know what you're going to say. Fine, I'll go see Jakajan." She reached for the crutches in the nurse's hand and got onto her feet.

"Are you forgetting something?" Arada called after Aerin.

Aerin turned. "Sorry," she mumbled, evidently not pleased.

Thomas nodded in acknowledgement and turned back to Arada. "She's really your twin sister?"

Arada sighed. "It doesn't look like it, does it?"

"Her name is Aerin, right?" Thomas asked, curious.

"Yeah," Arada replied. She paused. "Right, thank you again for bringing us to the hospital."

"It's alright." He looks around. "So who's Jakajan?"

"My friend," Arada replied.

"Is your sister always like that?" Thomas asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Am I like what?" Aerin asked, opening the door. "I can't believe you guys would gossip about me."

"Aerin, why don't you~" She was cut short.

"P'Da, stop making me go here and there even though you KNOW it hurts me to walk. If you really want to talk to this tall dark and annoying person then go talk somewhere else."

Arada sighed. "Aerin, be nice. He saved us, remember?"

Aerin rolled her eyes furiously. "How did he save us? If he weren't in front of us I would've have fractured a bone."

"Don't make me remind you how this ALL started, Aerin."

"It started with you being an idiot towards my meeting with Daniel."

"Right, so it's MY fault?" Arada sighed. "My fault that I wanted to take care of my only sister~"

"Stop using that as an excuse, P'Da. You and I both know that Daniel isn't a bad person. It's just because of your awareness towards Peter."

Hearing the name Peter, Arada broke into tears. "Yes, IT IS because of him! I don't want to see my only sister become like me! Why is that so hard to understand?"

Aerin, surprised, quickly went to hug her elder sister. "P'Da, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to say his name again, really. I was jus mad~"

Arada wiped away another tear from her face, smiling. "It's alright, Aerin. Now, be a good girl and call Dad for me."

"Why do you want to call Daddy?" Aerin asked.

Arada sighed. "I need to tell him I can't go to that function tomorrow."

"Which one? I'll~ I'll... I'll go instead of you."

Arada's eyes were wide. "Really?" She hesitated. "Aerin, your leg~"

"I'll be fine! Besides, the producers won't know the difference!"

"Of course they will," Thomas mumbled.

Aerin turned to face Thomas. "I heard that!"

"So?" Thomas asked.

Arada thought for a second. Aerin and Thomas... She turns to Thomas. "Thomas?"

"Yes?"

"Are you free tomorrow?" Arada asked.

Thomas smiled. "I think so, why?"

"Can you look after Aerin for me? I have a really bad headache and I don't think I could go."

"Uhh~" Thomas hesitated.

"My pain is physical, your's is mental. I can go alone, really!" Aerin protested.

"AERIN, you really think I would let you go alone? This meeting is really important."

Thomas sighed. "Fine, I'll go."

"Thank~" Arada was cut short.

"I OBJECT!" Aerin protested again.

"Aerin, for me?"

Aerin sighed. 'Fine."
