I stumbled upon this so I decided to watch it. Not as boring as I expected from all the reviews but not the greatest movie, however I was quite entertained by Chom's performance and the brother. At certain points there seemed to be nothing really going on and the romance was not really that developed. I felt bad for Ho's inability to have children and as moving (kinda moving) of a speech Doc had you just know that it is going to be an issue. For me personally the reasoning that you can't love both your wife and children is kind of upsetting, well then what about parents? obviously most people love their parents (though in a different way, just like one loves their own child) as much as they love their spouse. Perhaps they should have shown Doc's relationship with his parents so I can at least know where he's coming from with his reasoning. But hey, movies are supposed to get you thinking sometimes so take it with a grain of salt if you have to.
