Pong’s Trip to China to Promote Lakorn

Many Chinese fans of Pong have been really excited the last couple of days b/c of Pong’s visit to China.

Pong’s first lakorn that aired in China was Luerd Hong, but it was not until China aired Sang Kram Nang Fah in 2009 that made Pong a big star with Chinese lakorn fans. In July, Proong Nee Gor Ruk Ter also became a hit with Chinese audiences and with Buang Rak Gamathep being the next lakorn to air, a popular Chinese talk show extended a special invitation to Pong and Bee to come and promote Buang Ruk Gammathep. Unfortunately, Bee could not make it so Exact sent Pang Onjira to help promote BRG.

They arrived in Beijing at 6:30AM. Pong was the last of his party to leave the terminal. He was surprised and very pleased to see so many fans greet him.

His fans caused a big commotion at the airport.

They participated in Anhui’s Foreign TV Programming Exhibition

It looks like two more of Pong's lakorns, Ngao Asoke and Tilay Risiya will air soon in China along with several other Exact lakorns. You got to hand it to Exact. They really know how to market their lakorns overseas.

Pong promoting Buang Ruk Gammathep, which is currently airing in China. Proong Nee Gor Ruk Ter, which just finished airing in July, is also currently re-running on Chinese tv.

@your question about the video from the talk show that he appeared in, it has not aired in China, yet. All of these photos are from fans who attended the taping of the show. When the video is available, I will post the link. Hopefully, one of his fans will be kind enough to sub it English for us.

I'm currently looking through some last pics of them leaving Beijing. I'll post them up later today.

You are so very welcome, Songie. As you can imagine, there were so many photos to skim through at Pong's Chinese forum. With me not being able to read Chinese, it was a bit overwhelming. Thank goodness for Mandy. She's our Chinese connection to Pong. Also, I had such a hard time deciding which ones to post here b/c they were all so cute.

P'pong is really a nice friendly and amazing person.On that tv show the most word he said is thanks his fans for they come here early and waiting for a long time outside to attend this show .when i heard it i really deeply touched by him.in fact ,pong is the same with us.he is also waiting for a long time to prepare and shoot this show neally all the afternoon he must tired too.and also a part is pong learn to make a famous chinesefood "beijingduck"when he made it he said he want to share it with his fans for many of them especially travel a long way to beijing to see him !what a nice person!he has a great warm heart always care others feeling first.
For my shy personality i very regret is not to stare at his eyes to say a thank you to him after he friendly take photo with me .here i want to say a thank you loudly to you, hope you can hear it.
Unfortunately and worst to me is for my prepare a gift for him spend a really long time , when i rush to the airport to see him off,he has left already. what a sad thing to me! i even miss a last chance to say goodbye to him .i hold the gift especially for him my tears can't help anymore,on my way back i crying a longtime ,i make a big error not to arrange time well ,finally i missed the last sight,i can't excuse myself ! During these days ,he give a lot of nice sweet unforgetable moment to me ,all of them will rooted in my mind and fresh forever.

Thank you yangcuiv for sharing that with us. How wonderful that you were able to see Pong in person in Beijing. From what I have read, everyone that has met him all say the same thing, that Pong is very nice, very down to earth and even better looking in person, if that is possible. :blush:

Pong's Chinese fans are awesome! They are very organized when it comes to Pong. Once news got out that he would go to Beijing, his Chinese fans left lots of messages at Pong's fanpage on Facebook, at Exact's Facebook, and also at Exact's official website. LOL, they are persistent. Pong was sweet to give them the info on his flight two days before his trip.

Ok, so here is the video of Pong and Pang's interview at Chinese website sohu.com. The video of Pong and Pang on the talk show won't be available until the show airs in China and I don't know how long that will be, but of course, it will be posted here once it becomes available.
