Bangkok Countdown 2007 at CentralWorld
CentralWorld, in cooperation with Thai TV Channel 3, RS Public Company Limited, the Thai Health Foundation Promotion, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Accident Prevention Network, Road Safety Center, The tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Ratchaprasong Square Trade Association (RSTA), Total Access Communication Public Company Limited (DTAC) and Listerine will organize the spectacular new year event, “Bangkok Countdown 2007 at CentralWorld” to embark the new year celebration which will feature entertainment programme by popular movie stars and heart-throb artists including Ann Thongprasom, Benz Pornchita Na Songkhla, 4 hosts from “Phuying Tueng Phuying”, Film Rattapoom and Dan & Beam from Thai TV3 and RS promotion on December 31, 2006 at CentralWorld Square. The event will be broadcasted live via Thai TV3.
Kobchai Chirathivat, president and chief executive of Central Pattana Public Company Limited the developer of CentralWorld, said that “Bangkok Countdown 2007 at CentralWorld” is organized by many organizations from both the government sector and private companies. CentralWorld and alliances spent over 50 millions baht for this grand-scale event to promote Ratchaprasong shopping street to be a renowned venue for New Year celebration in the heart of Bangkok by decorating fantastic illuminations to create the most magnificent New Year celebration event in Bangkok and in Thailand. It will also be arranged for welcoming tourists who would like to celebrate this coming New Year Event, the countdown to year 2007.
“Bangkok Countdown 2007 at CentralWorld”, the most dazzling festivity to attend will highlight Digital Megatainment in full range of light and sound shows and live on-stage performances by Thailand’s top artists, actors and performers from RS Promotion and Thai TV3. The Countdown will be culminates in a dazzling fireworks display to greet a beautiful day of a bright new year.
For activities and performances on stage on December 31, 4 pretty women from “Phuying Tueng Phuying”, “Kalamae” Patcharasri Benjamas, “Pui” Pimonrat Suppayang, “Neena” Kulnadda Patchimsawat and “Kai” Meesuk Jangmeesuk will host the event. Popular artists, “Film” Rattaphoom, Dan & Beam, Four-Mod, Girly Berry, I-nam, Neko Jump etc. and favorite movies stars including Ann Thongprasom, “Benz” Pornchita Na Songkhla, “Kik” Danai”, “Por” Titsadee etc. will perform a special live show and concert for celebrating this festive activities. And that night enjoy a final round of “Male Star Challenge 2007”, the contest held by Thai TV3 to search for the a new face star to work with them, where all contestants together with all the superstars will sing a song to welcome a bright new year through the biggest Multimedia TV screen (57x12m.)
