Ok So like I promise, I created this thread dedicating it to our passion for singing and raising awareness for more Hmong girl's involvement in the Hmong Music Industry.

I'm VERY VERY VERY VERY new at this but since it has already begun, I'll take lead for now unless one of you girls wanna take over :lol: or somebody with more experience and know what they're doing take over.

Anyways, since I don't think any of us in here actually plays any instruments, it wouldn't be right to call ourself a "band". So its a "Singing Group".

Since I'm pretty still clueless, I need suggestion so I can guide us in the right places. Do you girls want to just karaoke and sings Covers, or produce some actual songs, or both?

& Please volunteer yourself again.
Sign yourself as a singer, composer, lyricist, or all of them!

I would try out, but I'm not much of a singer. However, I think it's a wonderful idea to start an all girls singing group.

me too.
the only 'instrument' i ever played was the friggen recorder
lol.
my siblings are in band and orchestra
i told them to continue playing.. they are pretty good
especially my little brother... he's good with the cello

Same here. LOL. :lol: That's the only musical instrument I've ever been taught to play.

anyways, for those who are confused.
its a song about a girl who meets her ex-boyfriend's new girlfriend. she talks to her and she finally comes to accept her. she's telling herself that she's not mad at him for choosing her because she's so good, nice, and cute. she can never compare to her. she wish them the best of luck and all she can do now is to let him go because her time is up. and blah blah blah blah. lol

^its wierd how i was able to come up with the lyrics when i have never been through such situation. however, i already got down the tune for the song. i want to song be more like a loud uplifting motivating song.
