I already get calls from telemarketers and I add my number to a list months ago, still getting calls.

Doesn't really matter to me because I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize.

um the rules are:

u won't get calls from others that are marketing. but u will get calls from people u are already a customer of. so it doesn't mean u won't get solicited. u will still get em... from ur companies u already deal with.

the thing i hate most are shitty text msg'es. i don't have a text msg plan and those idiots keep msg'ing me... why do we have to pay for shit we didn't text!!

btw, there's a site u can sign up, u don't needa call.

I hope telemarketers call me. I only use 35 minutes a month and I Have 500 more to spare lol Just kidding. I really just hate when they call the house and ask for me. Then my mom goes "Yes! She's here, hold on." -__- I tell her specifically, if anyone...anyone calls for me from the house phone, then I'm not there. If they're important, they would have my cellphone. Then she goes, "Well...I thought it was one of your friends."

Well! I can't wait! Hahaha jk I'll have to sign up too. But not from my cellphone. For some reason, it just sounds weird. Sounds like you're REGISTERING your phone for telemarketers from the msg you posted.

I didn't know you can get texting block. Thank you 1111. I have the minimum plan on my phone, and it's a waste getting stupid text that are no use.

^ Sprint has the option for their customers to block it from their online account as well. Not sure if other carriers have this option. If not, you should call and have them block certain numbers.

Sprint has the option to block all numbers, block specific numbers, or block all numbers but the ones you list. This is just for texting, not for phone calls. Apparently that option doesn't exist, kind of amazing.

My sister have ATT and she said it cost $5 ? a month to block certain number. Kind of costly after you add it up. She was getting a stocker calling, and they said they couldn't do anything about it. Crazy huh?

Ahh, telemarketers; I understand it's their job and the way they make a living, but they totally annoy the crappers out of me lol. I have 2 numbers now one where I just leave so people can call me or whatever and I have my other phone which only important people has the number too. The other phone I'll rarely answer lol, but the private one I've set it to where only people in my contacts list can call me. If they are not on my contacts list they will get a message around the lines of, "the subscriber you are trying to reach is not available at the time so please try again later, or the subscriber you are trying to reach is not accepting calls from outside parties please try again later." I don't exactly remember which one it is lol but it's something in those nature. As for text messages I have unlimited text messages so I'm not so worried, but I've never really gotten text messages from telemarketers -.-"

Yeah I've never gotten text messages from telemarketers either. Only ones that are not from friends are from Verizon notifying me that my statement is ready to view.

oo hi 5 nai i got verizon too lol i haven't been gettin any weird calls or txt msgs either but for some reason dese people tryin to sell viagra keeps e-mailing me. over 100 e-mails per week. it's so damn annoying

Hi5 back. Hmm did you add those people to your block list? I usually never get spam...well except for my yahoomail account. Everytime I log in I keep getting spam from people who are sending emails to a different address but since their email address is similar to mine, it comes to me. It's really weird so I usually just block the senders and delete the messages.

a lot of it goes to my junk folder but some of it passes through to my inbox. i should try to find a way to opt out of those e-mails but i'm lazy lol

cause ive had been on there since it was issued some yrs ago...and them damn telemarketers are a pain in the know you what..and they just wont stop and speaking to live person doesnt to any good neither...gosh they are worst than the computer generated ones..at least the comp arent rude and doesnt talk back to ya.

what they should do is ban all of the telemarketers from calling cell phone numbers and work places...(which i get atleast 10 calls per day...freaking annoying) <_<

yep everyday for the past 4 months...atleast 10 calls per day...i even kept a list of those dang numbers too..and realized that some telemarketing companies have atleast 5 different numbers... <_<

no one wants to talk to you? thats not true pich...LOL * they will find ya one way or another..i tend to google those numbers and golly they got complaints all over the country...when you get one of those numbers calling ya dont pick up just go online and google it...some of the comments will crack you up...i actually enjoy reading the comments on those 800notes websites...

btw of all the phones at my work place...the one that sat on my desk is the "lucky" one :rolleyes: (gets all the telemarketing phone calls + more)

and since we are on this subject...you ever get those stupid health insurance papers via fax ?? those are scams too..ive called before inquiring bout the dental one and they are some rude arse folks...man...the first thing they ask you if you would like to enroll today and eager to get your acct #...wth if you even open your mouth to ask a question they cut you off and hangs up on you!

and that vacation package, also via fax too $99 per person blah blah blah...gotta read the fine prints if theres one... you have to pay for a full price package to get this stupid deal or you would have to make the call to know that its not what was advertised..i got bored at work one day and called that dang number...only to find that out...lol man these ppl are really something!!!!!!!

sprint doesn't do that they won't block text messaging for you
