to throw in my thoughts, i dont think speaking a few sentences mean they can speak it fluently.
right?

yah, they can throw a few english sentences out there,
but they are not FLUENT if they can't carry on a conversation with you.
right?

cause isn't that the definition of fluent?
cause fluent means like, flow smoothly, effortlessly.
right?

like, i can say like...
- im hungry
- turn right/ turn left/ go straight
- im ____ years old
- it's okay
- today i go to school
- etc.

but that doesnt mean im fluent in thai. heck nah.
im so choppy. lol.
i dont consider that fluent in thai at all.

im just saying. cause a lot of people say this person speak english,
but a sentence doesn't mean FLUENT. get it?

im not picking a bone with anyone, im just throwing in my thoughts.

please share more!!!!!

I agree with you 100% The people I listed are based aren't based on their songs, but from hearing them converse with someone.
Shit, I was I was fluent in thai, but mine is also choppy too. I also add a lao words in there too! whoops. I'm too shy to try to attempt to speak thai to a native thai speaker. hahaha I don't want them to judge me! hhaha

That older Thai actor who was in "Streetfighter: Legend of Chung Li" spoke English well. What's his name?

Muddie Murda

I hope everyone understands that by having an "accent" doesn't mean their English isn't perfect. I think many in here are Americans, and our little bubble here, we don't realize that Americans have American accent. :D Just my 25 cents.

I think these celebs are decent since it's pretty hard to learn another language, IMO.

Plus, there's no such thing as perfect English...even in America. lol

True. Even here in America many people have issues with grammar. But seeing the vids posted, I'm impressed at the way they speak English, especially Chakrit and Donut. I hope there's a vid of Namfon speaking English though. Lol :)
