*IN THE DOCTOR’S OFFICE*
“Baby, I told you that I am ok. I probably over worked myself or something….(resting her head on his shoulder)..I just need some rest that’s all.” Noon assured him as she close her eyes. The two waited patiently for the result of the check up. Chakrit step back into the room with Noon’s paper work. Paul anxiously got up. Not knowing what the result could be, quickly questioned the doctor.
“So… what’s wrong with her?”
“I got bad news and good news. Which one would you two prefer?” Chakrit warned as he made his way back to his desk.
Noon was ecstatic. She didn’t know what to think.
“What do you mean? (looking at Chakrit oddly). Just spill it out.” Paul demanded
“Ok…well let’s see. Are you ready to be a dad yet?” Chakrit question
“Dad!!” both Noon and Paul shouted. Paul was so excited. Knowing in his mind, that the only person he sees having his baby would have to be Noon. He was so excited that he grab a hold of Noon’s tiny body and spin her around. Noon on the other hand was also excited but the way she was being spun around, isn’t helping at all. She felt like she’s about to vomit at any second.
“Baby? Put me down. I feel like I am about to pass out.” Noon spoke in an exhausting soft tone.
“Sorry Hun.” Paul react as he gently sat her down on the chair. Knowing that there is a major factor in Noon‘s health, Dr. Chakrit called in a nurse to escort Noon to do another test.
“Yup. A baby!! From the morning sickness, drowsy and the result of her test? I am 99.9% accurate that she is pregnant. But?” as the Chakrit scan through her paper work.
“But? Why is there a BUT?” Paul question
“From the looks for her blood test. There seems to be a problem. We need you to bring her back so we could run some more test on her.” Chakrit demand. Rattled by the bad news, Paul quickly change his emotion as Noon walked back in. “What’s wrong?” Noon asked after seeing his expression. “Nothing Baby. Don’t worry.” Paul assure her as he wrap his arms around her body. “I Can’t wait to tell Daddy and Aumpt about the news!” Noon whispered.
*FIVE STAR RESTAURANT*
The music in the background play lightly while high class people sit and enjoy their most
luscious wine. The room fills with antique furnitures was almost a resemblance of an ancient Thai temple. There with their wine cups in hand, the three women cheered on about Noon’s pregnancy.
“I can’t believe she’s pregnant!” Paula exclaim while sipping her wine.
“Well they lived together. What do you think they sleep in separate room?” Aumpt replied
“Oh really? Dang I thought that they slept together along. What’s the use of living together then?” Rita questioned with a confused expression.
“No you dummy..(looking at Rita like she’s crazy). Aumpt was being sarcastic.” Paula corrected her.
“Oh..like duhh.(acting like she was just playing) I know that already. I was just playing along.” Rita stated back as the other two laughed at her.
While the three women were enjoying their evening, a group of biker boys enter the restaurant.
“Excuse me Sr. Do you have a reservation with us here?” the host rudely ask as if they wasn’t good enough to be there.
“Step a side fellas…(walking in front of the guys) let me handle this!” wearing a gray skinny jeans with his leather bike coat, Rome was admittedly the center of attention.
“No! For me there’s no such thing as a reservation.”
“Oh my!” the host exclaim as if she seen a prince from heaven or something.
“Mr. Rome Patta! We haven’t seen you in ages! Of course there‘s always a place for you. Follow me Sr.!” The host lead the way as Rome and his fellow bike guys followed behind.
“Oh lala…(checking out the group of guys) Look at those bad boys there..” Paula whispered to her friends.
“Oh lala? You mean OH YUCK. Sorry bad boys is a major turn out.” Aumpt reply as she made a disgusting face.
“Oh where? …(looking around and notice the group of guys) Dang that dude looks very familiar. (still thinking)…I don’t know where though.” as Rita try to scramble her memories.
“Don’t try too hard Rita. You might hurt your brain.” Paula warned as she place her hand on Rita’s head.
“What brain? I didn’t know she has one?” Aumpt joked.
