Synopsis:
Yuan Cedrick Flores or also known as Ricardo Amato who grew up in a slum area. he knew that he was the illegitimate son of Juandro Flores, his mother used to be a servant in Flores family. but his mother was chased away by the Flores family when she got pregnant. later, his mother met a man who used be an activist and a NPA, Amato Henares.
for a very short time, even though they were living in a slum area and hunting by those government officials because of his father. those were the times that he learn how to live through difficulties and his second father, Amato taught him how to live. he was treated like his own son and he could see that his mother found a new love with this man. he had a sister and for him, he was happy enough to have a family that he can call on to.
one day, when Amato and his mother died because they were hit and run. he couldn't forgive those people and wanted to revenge, but dont know how. their parents, didn't have money and he don't know how to support his little sister, since he's still a minor. when he went to his parents room and plans to take away those memories of them... he found a letter from Amato.
the letter was purposely written for him to find out sooner if what his father does. he was filled with high hopes, that his father left something for them. though they dont have a money, but there are people that they could always ask for help. there he meets the set friends of Amato, they were took care by those friends that Amato trusted most.
but there was an exchange...
Yuan learned the missions that Amato needed to finish and part of that is to finish the dela Paz family. he was told to change his identity, so that the people wouldn't traced him. he also learned why the group of rebels wanted to take revenge against these list of people. there he sworn infront of the leader of rebels that he'll take his father's footsteps, but they had to promise to protect and support his sister from schooling because its one of his mother's wishes, while he'll finish what is needed to be done.
after his training to be a professional assassin, Yuan decided to change his identity. wearing different names while on his mission. but when he was given the task to know the secrecy of the dela Paz family, he gave himself a new name. Ricardo Amato.

on the other hand, Stella's the heiress of dela Paz emphire. aside from being part of the celebrity scoop because of her mother Isadora, who's a well-known businesswoman and the CEO of dela Paz emphire. Stella had everything, she was told by her mother that she needed to retire soon of being a model and start to focus in their business. but that's not what she wanted and she rather want her younger sister Yssa to take her place. because being a celebrity is what she always wanted.
Stella wanted to maintain her status in entertainment industry, but Isadora let her choose.
either she'll marry Ricky Flores, who's the son of Juandro Flores and currently her boyfriend for almost 5 years now.... or she has to retire soon in her chosen career. if she'll choose to marry Ricky, then her boyfriend will be the one to run their business, besides their parents has been familiar with each other years now and also Ricky's father is a business tycoon.
but she don't want be married, nor engage. neither she wanted to quit to her career, it's her passion.
when some reports from the tv was announced that there are syndicates hunting the well-known families. Isadora hired some men and some special bodyguards for her two daughters. she found out from Juandro that he was threatened by a of group syndicate and so, Isadora needed to be alert to protect her daughters as well.
Stella didn't want to have bodyguards because she knew that her mother was over controlling her life, but there's nothing she can do about it. there she meets Ric, a bodyguard that was assigned to her.
the two started in a wrong foot, she was the dictator... but he was indifferent and needed to follow what Isadora's commands than her. what's worst is that she only found herself drawn closer to him, but hating him at the same time. she wonder why he's being nice to her younger sister and not her. he wasn't just a bodyguard, but a ruthless and an arrogant bodyguard!
what if she finds out that this man is not just a bodyguard, but rather a person who was tasked to kidnapped her and kill their family?
