Chapter 8

Chai was lucky enough to catch up to her. He hug her from behind not letting her leave. “Chana. Please don’t go.” Chana felt the warmth Chai was able to give her. In which, she aches for more.

“Even if I stay it will do no good.”

“But you know why I am doing this.”

“Still. I know I am at guilt.” Chai holds on tighter. Chana thought to herself. “There will be one day that the past will have to reconcile.”

“Chana don’t go please. I don’t want to lose you. Please bare just a little bit longer.” The more he spoke, the tighter he held on.

Once again, Chana thinks to herself. “I’ve made it this far, there is no way I will let you go now. So this is how it feels? I can bare it unlike her! My metal heart is gone when I need it the most.”

“Answer me Chana. Tell me you will bare it with me.”

“Don’t worry. But right now I want to be alone. Please let me go.”

“Promise you wont do anything selfish Chana.”

“Never.” Chai is at ease; he thinks she meant never will she ever. But in reality, it’s the opposite.


Sariyas Room

She lay flat on the bed crying. She remembers about the past. Her room does not have a door; it’s an open doorway. Sariya was too busy crying she didn’t notice Chai was listening from the doorway.

“How come you are so dumb? You let others take an advantage of you.” Sobs. “That’s why you’re alone at the end. Your job is way more important.” Some more weeps and sobbing. “Don’t let them win you over. Ever!”

Chai butts in thinking she was just having another migraine headache. “Sariya, go to sleep. It’s getting late swedums.” She gets up and tries to walk out of the room. Chai holds her back by grabbing onto her hand.

“Let me go! I don’t want to see you ever again! You don’t have a heart! I don’t want to lose my heart to someone who’s heartless!”

“Your attitude is quite different than the first time I saw you.”

“Whatever you want to believe is your issue, not mine.”

“Is this a act?” Chai ask in a demanding tone. His hand around her wrist tightens making her struggling to break free.

“Let me go!”

“I want to know who you really are! Tell me!!”

“I will not let my heart fall for a spiteful person like you ever again! You and that tramp of yours can go da HELL!” Chai lets go. Sariya ran to the back leaving Chai confused.

“Again?” Chai follows her. “Sariya! Come back and lets talk it out my love. Sariya! Sariya come out!!” He ran to the grass area and sees her standing still. He took one step at a time towards her. “Sariya.” She turns around. His hand reaches out to her. “Lets go inside.”

“You promise you will never leave me again.” She spoke in a sad tone.

“I am still here. I wont leave you at all.”

“Liar. Because of that bitch of yours! She came between us! How dumb of you not to see Chai??”

“Our love? Chana came before you ever knew me!!”

“Oh is that correct? Then you must have forgotten Aoey!? Let me ask you Chanchai. Who was she to you? Was she not important enough for you not to remember?”

“Aoey?” Chai stutters a bit. “H-how do you know her?”

“That is not important. The important thing is that you have already forgotten about her.”

“That is not true Sariya!”

“I already said that I am Not SARIYA!! How many more times do you want me to repeat that damn sentence?!!” Chai struggles to say something, but nothing came out. “I cant believe you’ve just push her out. We had . . . I had so much to live for! Now, it belongs to someone else.” Her hand raise to touch her chest. “Every night, for the past 8 years, I’ve longer to see you so much. It hurts me so much to see you didn’t even bother to search for me.”

Chai was still very much confused. “Who are you?!! One part you say something different, then another totally way off. If you don’t tell me how will I know how to respond to your questions?”

“Do you still love Aoey?”

“Aoey . . .” Chai shakes his head. “Who are you first?”

“Answer my question!”

“Aoey . . . She is my first love. Never will I ever forget about her.” She felt her heart had dropped to the floor. She struggles on.

“Then, what about Chana?”

“Chana . . .” Before listening to his full answer, she had already lost hope. “Chana is only a replacement. Nobody could ever compare to Nong Aoey.”

Chapter 9

“Wherever she is, no matter how far she is, I feel as if she is still next to me.”

“Chaiii.” She sobs as she cries out his name. A smile appears on her face. She ran into his arms.

“Aoey?”

“Chai! I’ve missed you so much! I thought you’ve moved on.”

“Only my body but never my heart.” He pull her back to embrace her. He place a warm kiss on her forehead. She closes her eyes as he do so. “I’ve longer to hold you in my arms again.”

Aoey thought to herself. “My days with you are numbered. I’m sorry my love, but I have a mission to fore fill.” Chai leads her to his room.



The next morning Aoey purposely woke up early. After washing up she open up his cell phone and type something in. She notice the time was 4:25AM, the sun hasn’t even risen yet. “I better hurry.” She thought to herself. She walk past the living room, But the light the moon had lent her grabbed her attention. “Maybe our love is like the sun and the moon we're not meant for now but someday, we will collide and make a beautiful ECLIPSE. Until that day I will wait for you Chai.”

Aoey quietly walk out to the front. A black Nissan 350z was parked across the street waiting for her. She reach under the car and felt a key, she took a hold of it open the car. She slid into the black leather seat. She notice there were some folded clothes on the other passenger side. She slip on a pair of sunglasses and turn on the engine and drove off.



His cell phone rings waking him up. “Aoey? Aoey??” Chai looks up; he was alone in the room. He gets off the bed and pull on his boxers. He grab his cell that was laying on the side of the bed where Aoey had slept. He slid it open. “One New Message.” He click View. Nong Aoeys voice came on.

“My love, hopefully you’ve gotten my message originally the time. My plan was mistaken; these two days were supposed be the best days of your life. Last night was more than I had hope for. I’m sorry to leave in such a hurry. I need to do some stuff before taking it onto a higher level. If we are meant, we will meet again. Hopefully it is for a good cause.” Her voice starts to weaken. She clears her throat before proceeding on. “If we don’t, I wish you happiness with Chana. But, I wish her the best of luck surviving in this Cruel World. I love you Chanchai.”

Chai search throughout his house for her but had no luck. He open the garage and drove through the streets to look for her. “She can’t go far, she don’t have a car. She doesn’t even know her way!” He park his car on the side when his cell rang. “Nong Aoey??”

“What? Boss, you need to get to the office as soon as possible.”

“I’m not even dressed yet. Let me go back and change, ill be there ASAP.”




Chai ran inside breathless. He leans next to Patanees desk panting. “W-wh-hat??”

“Detective . . .” She look him up and down. “You’re a mess!”

“Cut the crap, get to the point.”

“We’ve found your fourth victim.”

“Then where is he?”

“You wouldn’t believe who it is. Take a deep breathe and relax yourself first.”

“Are you mocking me?” Just as Patanee was about to answer, someone walks in.

“Chanchai.” Chai turns around to see Chana still in her nurse outfit.

“Chana. What brings you here?” He walks over to her.

“I’m not sure. This morning when my dad and I arrived, cops were already at the hospital waiting. We were then escorted to here.”

“Where’s your father?”

“They are questioning him.”

“Patanee.”

She walks over. “Yes boss?”

“I want to see you in my office. Chana, wait here okay. Everything will be fine.”




Chai open the door for Patanee. After she enters he close the door and walk over to his desk. He sat down and motion her to come closer. “Your not in trouble. I just want to know how Chanas father is involved.”

“The whole office has been working non stop since you took your two day vacation. Before I arrived, they had already found out. I am not sure but I think Manee and Prawit probably know more than me. Of course they’re in a higher position boss.”

Chai thinks before saying anything else. “Where are they right now?”

“Questioning Doc.”

-OKAY. This is where the action Starts. =D

I need opinions. Do you think Vickie can pass by as Chana?? hummm. Who do you think fits the roles perfectly?? In order to make a poster?? How about May? Shes a bit sexier for Chana but she can definitely pull off the sweet and Nasty parts.

If it's mean to be, they'll come back together again soon. --- That's what I kept telling myself bout my ex. LOL.

Chapter 10
10:04AM
Patanee follows Chai to the back of the office. Chai knocks on the door once. Prawit opens the door. Without hearing his acceptance, Chai walks in. He turns back when he notice Patanee did not follow. “Come in.” She closes the door and stands at the back knowing her status. Chai purposely stand next to Prawit. “Why aren’t you in there?” Chai smiles. “Never mind.”

“I’ll have you know . . .”

Captain Krasin interrupts him. “Shut up and pay attention!” Both Patanee and Chai giggle inside. Manee was in the other side of the one-way mirror. Doc was sitting down on the wooden chair while Manee leans on the table facing him.

“How long have this been going on?”

“Almost an hour.”

“Any luck?”

“Well, we now know whether it’s because of revengeance or of greed. It’s both.” Chai moves in closer.

“So the girl, that we suspect is the killer, is taking out revenge? Do we know the motive?”

“Not yet. But we did find out why we weren’t able to find any details of Docs past. Simply because he had fake his own death. The reason so is unkown, which is why Manee is in there. Since his arrival here in Bangkok, he has been living as a new changed person. He claims he had lost his birth certificate, which granted him the privilege of filing out for a new one. Everything due to his missing past makes perfect sense now. But the reason to do so is still unexplained. If you can, not that I’m pressuring you to, convince him to come clean once and for all.”

“I . . . Chana, you know?”

“Don’t pressure yourself Chai. You don’t start until tomorrow. But just stay prepared.”

“Today is fine. Nothing much to do at home anyways.” He thinks of Aoey nonstop till lunch.


10:45

It was time for a break. Chai waits outside patiently for Manee. Both waited until the door was closed before speaking. “Do you have any idea why Doc would be our fourth victim?”

Manee shook her head. “No, sorry Chai. But, I doubt he is the same person you thought you had knew.” She walks over to the break room and opens the fridge and pull out a water bottle. Chai follows her waiting patiently. “You know Captain was wondering whether if he should give you this case.” She gulp some water before proceeding on. “Or give Prawit a try and try to prove himself . . .Who knows it could be a successful case if he takes control..”

Chai smirk. He crosses his arms and lean against the refrigerator. “Feel free if they want more people to be at risk. Everything’s fine with me.”

Manee set the bottle down and folds her hands. Chai lift his eyebrows up and look at her. “What now?” He ask.

“Well, I’m talking about you and Chana. We’re going to dig up some more dirty deeds, your positive it wont affect the two of you?”

Chai thinks a little before answering. “Right now . . .” He walks towards the window. “I’m not even sure, if this is what my heart wants anymore.”

“Chai . . . Your overreacting. Your probably just frustrated because everything happened so fast.”

“You know when talking about Aoey, I’m always serious.” He turns around to see Manees reaction.

“Aoey? She’s in town?” She takes a few steps towards him “Huh-huh, it seems she is never here when you need her. But when you don’t need her, she’s . . .”

Chai cuts her sentence short. “Manee. I don’t Need your personal opinion.”

She turns around and starts walking towards the door. “Then don’t listen.” Before walking out she turn around to look at Chai. “P’Chai, I’ve known you and nong Aoey since … Forever! I would hate to see it happen all over again. Choose … Wisely. Not that I’m saying she an evil person, but look at the dark side and see what it can bring.” Little did they know Chana was listening like a mouse in the hallway.

Her eyes widen. She clenched on her skirt back and fourth.


11:13
Aoey park her car in the parking lot and walk out in Chais clothes. In her right hand she held the other clothes found in the car, on top of everything was her sunglass. Aoey makes her way to the Elevator and pressed the lighting number 13.

She reaches the 13th floor and stayed on her right. Finally she had reached her destination, room 302. Next to the door was a special made pot about half a meter, filled with water lilies. Aoey dip her hand in and pull out a key. She then used it for the doorknob and went inside.

As soon as she was inside, she walk to the master bedroom where she threw everything onto the bed. Aoey then pull off his size Large sleeping shirt, revealing her silky soft stomach. Wearing nothing other than her bra and boy underwear, she walk into her walk-in closet. Her hand parted the pants from the coats. She pulls on a knob making the cabinet open. Before walking in Aoey made sure the entrance to the closet was well lock. The secret room was well equipped with guns, bombs, and knives. Any other things, you name it she has it. She sets the sunglass into its original case carefully. Aoey then sat on the stool slowly. Her hand reaches towards a frame and brought it in closer. Anger made her turn to a mad woman, love made her furious. Anything she can succeed in, but love was her weakness. Her left hand raise to cover her mouth, while tears stream down her checks. Her hand moves away from her mouth and wipe away her warm tears. She stiffens herself to lift her mood and press on the voice mail.

11:45

“You want to go grab lunch?”

Manee looks over. “You treat?”

“I guess so.”

She smiles. “Lets go.” She grab on her blazer hanging on her chair. She notice Chai looking. “What? You don’t expect me to go out flashing my guns at people do you?”

Chai smile. “Whatever works for you Nee.”

“You drive or I drive?” she giggles. “You.” On their way to the front they pass by Chana. Chai barely notice her but stops only because Manee stopped. “Chana, where are you going?” Chana looks at Chai who dare not to look at her. She looks away trying to look innocent.

“To go grab lunch for my dad.”

“Oh.” Manee points at herself and Chai. “We’re going, do you want to tag along?”

Chai spoke before Chana could respond knowing what she would say. “We could always get it for her. Chana you go on and stay with Doc.” Chai walks out before both can reply.

“I better go too, before he leaves without me.” Manee joke.

Chapter 11

12:10PM

“YUMMmm . . . Tuna.” She picks up her crispy sandwich and stole a bite. While munching, she tried to clear her mind. “Why did you ignore her? Just so you know woman hates to be Ignored.” Manee rolls her eyes while munching.

He looks at her with sleepy eyes. “You know why.”

She answers quickly. “No I don’t. Care to explain?”

Chai clears his throat. “Fine . . .”

Manee interrupts him. “Are you going to eat that?”

His hands motion to guard his pasta. “Of course!” He smiles.

Manee swallows her food. “Go on . . .You were saying??” She takes another bite. “This crap is Too small for me. A real woman eats as much as a Man.” Chai finds her statement funny, but has no doubt.

“If Aoey doesn’t show up before the case, I will simply give her up. And let her go, for good.”

“What about Chana? Are you going to let both go and see which comes gluing back?”

“Don’t eat with your mouth full!” He fails to sound manly and giggle through the last part.

“Tskkk. We’re Asian, no need to do that. Yeah, about Chana?”

“Chana. Uhhhrgh. I don’t even know who she is anymore.”

“But we’re not even positive if she is on this with her dad.”

“What about the possibilities? Whatever her dad does, she’s willing to do too.”

“When Doc faked his death, she was . . . Not even ten. Your purposely ignoring her aren’t you? ” Manee sets her sandwich down. She slowly reach for the napkin and wipe her mouth clean. “Get to the point Chai. Do you or do you not love Chana?”

“I . . . I don’t know.” Chai looks away.

“Your in denial Chai.” Manee was too busy lecturing Chai to notice her cell phone ringing.

“Pick up your phone. It’s getting annoying.”

“Oh. That was mine?” Manee holds the phone front facing her. She reads the letter. “Cha-naa.” Chai look into Manees eyes and beg her not to. “I’m not evil like you.” Mane flips her phone open. “Hello?” Manee burst into a big smile. “Yes yes, we almost forgot. Oh, Chanchai is in the restroom. Should I leave a message? Okay then, see you in a bit.” Manee giggle “Humhum, bye-bye.”

“What did she say?”

“She wanted to talk to you. But, I said you left to the restroom.” Her face expression quickly changed. “Aww! See! Look what you’ve turned me into!”

“It was your words . . . Never mind lets go.”

“Already?” She hurriedly follow chai but runs back to grab her sandwich.





7:15PM

Room 302

“I’m sorry but it’s my duty. Everything I do is up to me.” Aoey walks back and fourth. “Oh well who made you in charge?” Aoey sighs. “If I need any help, I’ll know who to contact.” She close the phone and held it in her hand for a few minutes. To let out the anger, she threw it at the wall making the pieces come apart.
Aoey purposely fell down onto the sofa. She was about to drift into sleep. But the sound of phone call disturb her. Her hands reach for it while her body rest. “Hello?”

“Aoey.”

She quickly sat on her butt. “Ben! I told you not to call here ever!”

“I know but forget about Monday, Chai is starting work today! I’ve tried all day to reach you but had no luck. What are your plans now?”

“He can’t start work today! If he does, it’ll fuck everything up. I need a route.”

“Go back to him.”

“What? You know that’s impossible Ben! We have to finish this goddamn mission before proceeding on to anything else.”

“You say you need a route right? It’s the only way out this time. Go back, and make him fall head over heels for you. Then leave him shattering him Once again. Once we’re finish you can always return back for the third time.”

“Your out of your mind right?”

“You don’t believe me? I heard ear to ear that he’ll give you another chance if you appear in front of his eyes before this case.”

“You followed him?”

“Of course. We can’t let them have their own little privacy don’t you think? Besides, I know you want to know what he said while Manee was referring to Chana.”

“Forget about that bitch. When do you think is perfect timing?”

“Tonight at his place. Get ready now. Leave by 10:00”

wow i missed a lot. so Aoey is on a mission, i hope she doesn't hurt Chai again. at first it seems that Chana was a nice and patient gf, but as I was reading, it seems that she's going to be kind of crazy or something. i hope you update this....
