What do u think make BPS a mega hit? I think there are many factors. Many people in Thai have been analyzing this phenomenon..it's interesting to know their opinions.

My Thai friend said this lakorn is the most successful lakorn ever recorded in the history of Thai television.

I read one article. A traditional fabic shop owner said in the past 30 years she opened this shop, this is the peak of her career. People purchased traditional fabric because of this lakorn...Amazing...

Personally, I think this boran lakorn is a first time slip/travel that I've seen aired on tv where the girl's spirit is reborned in another body. Even in China they wont allow for stories like these to be aired. Hence Princess Agents had a change in story line. Well, there was The Eternal Love, but for all I know I could be wrong.

I also think what makes this Boran Lakorn good is how they get to the climax of the episode and it makes you feel empty, because you want to know what happens next. I know the thrill of wanting to find out what the connection between Kadesurang and Karakade was made me want to keep watching. On top of it all, the developing feelings of love that Khun P' starts to show makes you want to keep watching just how far he will go with his conflicting emotions. It got built so well, that he burst in episode 10.

Then we get Kadesurang who is conflicted between her developing feelings for Khun P' and her feelings of responsibilities towards making Karakade's spirit happy so she can be reborn. She hangs onto the idea that she still likes Reung so she uses that excuse to push Khun P' away. But we all know, her stears and teasing ways are for Khun P'.

To top it up, Pope and Bella got good chemistry. Not just them, but even the side character couples were well paired. The conflict between Mae Mari and Constantine made you feel like you either want to ship this couple or you don't. Mae Mari is hard to read because at this point the question that I keep asking is "so do you love him or not?" We know Constantine loves her, but is it really love?

Then Mae Ying Junward's shifting feelings from Khun P' to Meun Reung makes you feel all bubbly, because Meun Reung was so sweet to her. He didn't care if she liked Khun P', he saw a good oppertunity with her and went for it. I wished they showed more with this couple, but I'm satisfy with Kadesurang and Khun P's love story.

And you can't forget the music. I love the soundtracks. Especially You, oh you male version. It's such a good and touching song.

I find this scene a little funny. They act like he shouldn't see her bare at all when they were tending her wound, not even allowing her to move her cloth up higher, but her other shoulder is bare! Haha. Sooo. . . what's the deal? What's there to conceal when they all wear tube tops anyway. Haha. And like Date has alrwady seen her bare shoulders when he watched her bathe. I love how Date was adament on staying, but still respectful of her by getting out immediately after seeing she's fine.
I was actually hoping Kade would tend his tiny wound.

I think the poem was written by a man...correct me if I'm wrong... so maybe after listening to the words he was smart enough to realize that....like when he knew the song about moon was actually describing woman's beauty.

If you watch the subbed version they added English subs to that part!!! And the translations are very beautifully written too.

..I even downloaded the episode in 1080p.....but haven't got around to watch it on my TV....so never knew they added words to that scene....and yes its more beautiful.

I only heard of very few and their reasons aren't that the lakorn isn't good or what not but I keep hearing that it's because Bella's acting is annoying or that she's over acting. Well that's when I'm like aww then those people didn't take take the time to really understand the lakorn because they just don't like Bella already. Which is cool cus there are some lakorns I refuse to watch cus I don't like the nangek. The other reason I've been hearing and reading is due to the success of the lakorn cus they are fans of so and so and did not appreciate that this lakorn is such a mega hit where as the lakorns of their favs aren't.

But BPS is on a whole nother level. I know people who never watches lakorns watches this. I see Thai restaurant playing the.lakorn or the music. There's even moo sarong and foy thong on their special menu. I was happy when i saw that although I can make it better hahahhaha.

This lakorn has all the chemistry that leaves you craving for more and makes you all giggle..aww.. you name it. I usually scan through scenes but not with this. As much as I love Tawipob... I still scan through some scenes.

Btw, I FINALLY watch Nakee! I spent the whole day and stayed up until 7 am finishing Nakee! No wonder the ratings are high.... poor Kumkaew! Always getting bullied and look down... nothing feels worst than being hurt by someone you loved for centuries. the mom... sigh makes me cry!
