Chapter 1
At “The Rose Garden�
It was a romantic evening, the sky was clear and the moon beamed right down to the couples eating there dinner. It was a wonderful night you can hear people laughing and chatting about how good the atmosphere and food was.
“How many sits sir?� the waiter asked the man that just walked in he was wearing a black tux with a red shirt inside and a black tie.� Two please!� the man said. The waiter brought the men to his seat and handed him the menu. While the man was waiting he thought about how he would propose to the love of his life, his friends thought he was crazy because he hardly knew her but to him it was love a first sight. Three weeks with her and he felt like he had known her for his whole life. As he was thinking about her the more he felt anxious about seeing her. The man picked up his wrist and looked at his gold Rolex watch it was now 7:53 he thought any minute and she will be coming. As he looked up from his watch he saw her walking in she had a midnight blue evening gown that ended below her knees and had crystal embedded in it she looked like the night sky. Her hair was in loose curls just framing her face perfectly. The man stood up to greet her; he took her hand and gently kissed it.
“I’m sorry to keep you waiting Stefan I just had to do some stuff for my dad� the woman said smiling to him. “No problem Ann I would wait for you even if you didn’t come at all.� He said smiling softly while holding onto her hands and looking into her eyes. “May I take you order?� the waiter asked interrupting the lovely couple. �Uhmm…sure what would you like to eat Ann?� Stefan asked while looking at Ann. “ Im not really hungry but you can choose for me Stefan.� Ann said as she made a small smile. “Okay I’ll have an escargot and my lady will have your best catch of lobster.� While he looking through the menu. “And I would like to have a bottle of your most expensive wine. “Will that be it sir?� the waiter asked. “Yes! That will be it you may now leave.� As Stefan turned to look at Ann she looked really beautiful today with her skin just glowing with radiance Stefan thought.
“Ann…� Stefan said but was cut off by Ann.� Stefan I think that we should break up I don’t feel like you’re the right person for me and I feel like your suffocating me.� Ann said with a straight face. Once Stefan heard what Ann just said he felt his heart being yanked out, thrown to the ground and stepped on. “What? I must be dreaming right Ann tells me you didn’t just say that to me?� his face was now in disbelief. “No you’re not dreaming Stefan you didn’t hear anything wrong. It was fun while it lasted but now it’s just different.� She said still with a straight face she let go off Stefan hands and got up. “But I love you Ann. How can you do this to me? I was going to propose to you!� Stefan said. “Good Bye Stefan and I hope I see you again� Ann said then turned her heel and started to walk out of the place. “Ann I love you please comeback I need you Ann!� Stefan shouted following Ann. Everyone in the restaurant was now looking at him. Stefan drop down to his knees and started to sob.
