it has decent ratings higher than the Bride of the Water God so I can say it is successful and it seems that Esther and Bie gained more Filipino fans. Just check their IG's lol. Anyways, GMA head of acquisition said they've bought 3 lakorns.
They're not yet revealing the other ones? I hope any lakorn from ch3 is included. GMA is so good at choosing Asian dramas. Yeah, Esther's IG is full of commenta from PH fans lol. Bie just suddenly became their bae
been seeing a lot of shirtless pics of Bie on my newsfeed and my friends asking for lakorn recommendations after watching YMD online. Haha. Yep, they're not revealing yet. I hope they got one or two from CH3 but I'm afraid they got lakorn version of kdramas. tsk!
Since Fated To Love You (orig) was aired in GMA and became successful, it's no surprise that they chose YMD as the first lakorn to air. I hope no thai remakes to follow (But save MLFTS next year lol). I think there's a higher chance that the lakorns from other channels would get aired.
Is that the Easter and Bie’s lakorn? Oh gosh, I thought it was bad. They overact and what happened to Bie’s face? He can hardly move it. It’s so predictable.
Yes, @Koy123 .. The pra ek's laugh annoyed me, like the korean version. lol I didn't finish it. PH viewers are liking it. Haha~ I thought thai version will follow the original but it was rather a korean remake's remake lol
@S.J.M I didn't like the korean version. They made it so dramatic. The original was my all-time fave Taiwanese drama. Joe Chen's character, may it be comedy or drama, got me hooked in the series. And Ethan Ruan was effortlessly funny too.
@S.J.M Joe Chen's perf was amazing. Acting gullible and at the same time, funny, it's what the remake's nang eks were lacking. Gotta commend the drama in korean ver but the rom-com feels of the original was unbeatable.
