Characters That Have Mesmerized You

Can you name a character or more from any lakorn that have left you mesmerized? A character you can't forget. Name the lakorn and the actor/actress, and why.

For me, I'm a girl so I focus more on the guys haha, and because of that I'm more mesmerized by the pra'eks. Also, I guess I must like the guys from period lakorns, because the two pra'eks that have left me mesmerized are in period lakorns. In no particular order:

Neung Nai Suang - Ken Theeradeth (Anuwat); Although this lakorn was pretty light and isn't my favorite, I'm absolutely in love with Ken in here. Ken just looked really handsome in here; I liked his haircut, his clothing, and I liked his character...sort of.

Luerd Kattiya - Tik Jedsadaporn Pholdee (Anothai); Tik's role in here is my absolute favorite of Tik, and I love the lakorn! Tik was really handsome in here as well, his haircut, the outfit, everything. Anothai is a well respected man and he's true to his love...what more could I have asked from his character.

These two guys made me fall head over heals for them...what about you?

Techit from Ngao Rak Luang Jai - I hated this lakorn but Techit was a great p'ek. Even though he was kind of a jerk in the beginning but after he excepted his love for his n'ek he was very lovely. I wanted to give him a big kiss for the way he handled the n'rai at times.

Harit from Jam Luey Rak - the way his character was built from beginning to end was wonderful. I love how persistent he was with So. A very honest and blunt character. Aum made me love him as an actor here.

Komut from Ploy Lom Phet - as much as he tries to deny his true feelings he really can't hide the fact that he truly cares for his n'ek. The way he saves her and the eye contact, Komut has mesmorized me.

Rab from Samee - the length this p'ek goes to to get n'ek in the palm of his hands is just awesome. He's funny, smart and know what he wants.

Nit from Khing Gor Rah Kah Gor Raeng - she may be a bit too hard headed at times but she knows how to fight and win that fight. I love how she tells the n'rai, p'ek has raped her.

Plerng from Plerng Toranong - his willpower, his charm and dedication plus Mr. Maurer's good looks = love.

Jao Nang Maneerin from Roy Mai - whats more to love than a woman who fights to get her man.

Mark's character as Techit in "Ngao Rak Luang Jai"- He didn't put up with any of nang'rai's bullshits.

Mario's character as Plerng in "Plerng Toranong"- He was positive, hard-working, and never gave up on what he did. Plus, he was always there for nang'ek.

Ken's character as Kawee in "Sawan Bieng" near the end- When he realized that he loves Narin, he did EVERYTHING to win her heart. All the parts where he cried after Narin tossed out his cooking and made him sleep outside, he finally knew how she felt when he tortured her.

Aum's character as Seua in "Piangjai Tee Pookpun"- He was always there for nang'ek and regardless of what people said and did, he never doubted her but loved her even more.

POPE's #1 MIA LUANG
For me, I'd say Ken's character in Sawan Biang. He was so...sexy in there regardless of his character.

I totally agree with these!! Especially Rab & P'Suer.

I'd like to add...

Kongpope from Roy Leh Sanae Rai...a rich playboy falls for a ordinary girl. When he realized he truly loves her...oh gosh, Tik was so romantic. And when he chased after her at the train station...I thought to myself that I could forgive this man anytime no matter what he does from now on.

Wanida...I love love love her character. Aff did an awesome job. I wanted to be her LOL! Sometimes I imagined myself as Wanida. I rehearsed this line over and over..."Ying dee tee dai roo jak ka khun Peesamai. Dee chun Wanida Masahak, pareeya kong Puntree Prajak ka." EPIC counterattack!

Chachorn from Manee Yard Fah...oh lord have mercy!!! The most handsome soldier EVER!!!

Kobori from Koo Gum...oh man, he had me crying for days. His love for Hideko is out of this world. All versions were awesome.

Jao Chai Puwanae...what a beautiful prince he was LOL! I was in heaven just watching him. The way he loved Nam...sigh...I'm so envious.

Saichon...my puppy love. So pure and innocent. Gives me that "first love" feeling.

Is your "nom" Fai-approved?
There are quite a few that I've admired throughout the years, but I suppose the most long-lasting and unchanging love I have for a character would be for
Chaiklang of Bansaithong (Num and Joy version). I think I subconsciously use him as a standard for the other pra ek I watch. Chaiklang is the ultimate gentleman, he loves deeply and is compassionate, and importantly, he stands up to his family when he knows they've been wrong or stupid. He has his own flaws but manages to be mature without being boring. Plus, he doesn't do that whole aggressive possessive borderline abusive stuff--I mean, I honestly like watching the aggressive type too, but it's so common these days, so I like that Chaiklang, as a romance hero, breaks away from that. which I appreciate even more because it teaches us that aside from our own fantasies, violence isn't romance.

And I can't talk about Chaiklang as a memorable character without talking about Pohjaman. I mean, talk about a female lakorn character who has that much depth, who is vulnerable yet strong, who makes mistakes, who grows throughout the story. Just...I can't even describe how much I wish there were more chracters like this in lakorn, whose focus isn't just about winning the heart of a man. I love the way her story begins even before meeting pra ek, because yup, life doesn't just start rolling when the "soulmate" appears. And, yeah, she and Chai love each other to death but I know she would survive even if he hadn't been part of her life.

honorable mentions:

Saichon had a huge impact on me, though it did wear off after a few months. It had to do with his love for Nangfah; the way he is so innocent but brave when it comes to his love...plus my then passion for Yadech. But I tell ya, there were many heart-wrenching moments and internal screams of agony on his behalf. lol

Rasa in Look Mai Klai Tong. Probably one of the most feminist characters of Thai lakorn. Hard-headed, but all in the name of justice. Kudos to her because I'd have a waaay hard time finding enough courage as she did to confront her dad. And just one of those rare women in lakorn who isn't passive and doesn't take anyone's crap, but is written in a way that avoids being dramatically "bitchy".

Huuhuu! You all said it all. lol

- Kawee will always be #1 in my heart, both Ken & Kawee. lol
- Along with cute, silly Rachen in Oum Ruk.
- Dedicated, loving, handsome fella Plerng in Plerng Torranong. Mario was so dang attractive!! <3 Haha
- Bee Sawis was so darn attractive back in the days. His hardcore, pervy, sexy ways/characters. Haha! :p Plot Lom Phet & Mere Jum Pen! <3
- Tik Pholdee was dang! lol Kongpope, my all time favorite character of Tik's. He was a jerk but man! You just couldn't resist him. lol
- Chachorn!! My goodness! He definitely is one of the hottest soldier of all time! No joke. lol He loved her a lot too!! Oh man! Haha!

And so much more! :D

I would have to say, one of the characters that mesmerized me the most is Wa Kim and Tai, both played by Mos. Wa Kim because no matter what he is by Nang'eks side helping her out, going into a fire to save the girl's life because she is very important to her mother. Tai because he never let anything happen to Nang' Ek though he knew that her father killed his parents, he forgave them for love.

More:
Raam, Kaew, and Kratin/Inthuka, all played by Mai. Raam and Kaew throughout the movie never stopped believing in her beliefs, though they were kind of weak, they were mostly strong in getting revenge, it was only the Pra'ek that made her soften up, and she had always loved the Pra'ek no matter what. Inthuka is just a strong girl compared to the Pra'ek.

Patthapee because of the way he always had to know a person before trusting them and his great jugdement and how he is never wrong.

Milk/Mew in Duang Jai Akkanee or Gubgib, she is so funny in Duang Jai Akkanee and her character always makes me feel bad for her that she loves a guy who doesn't even like her, but she is willing to do anything for him. and i kind of hate Akkanee for taking advantage of her like that though she has been nothing but kind to him. her parts made me cry over a million times, how she always loved him with a true heart.

I like Aun as Patchara in Sarp Phusa because he trusted Maipim 100%. Haha, not really mesmerized but he's an amazing man and very supportive!
