Help! CD/DVD drive won't open. :/

Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do if your cd/dvd drive won't open? It was working fine a few days ago because I was using it to install my Peachtree program onto my computer. Two days later, I wanted to insert a cd into the drive but it wouldn't open! I tried rebooting my computer and pressing the eject button but that doesn't work. I went to the My Computer folder to eject the drive from there but that doesn't work too. I even tried poking the little hole under the drive bay door but that doesn't do anything either. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

try restoring your computer or just uninstall and reinstall ur cd/dvd drive

Note: the little hole to manual open ur drive shud work, id prefer using a long paperclip, u have to poke it directly sraight, you should hit something hard and you have to push it for it to open the drive

Thanks for responding! Well, yesterday I went home and the drive is working just fine now. I just had to unplug the black wire from the back of the computer and also turn that one red button off. Then be patient and have the computer cool off for a while. ^_^
