Yeah, I think sometimes the lakorns do have pretty names. Ok, I admit, since I am not Thai and my Thai ain't really that good, I do not know the meanings behind the names. But I certainly love these names - Irisa (Aom played Irisa in the lakorn about the hairstylist who turned blind at one stage, with Ken in it too) and Areeya (Anne played the crown princess in this lakorn with Willy).

So, yup .... wouldn't mind picking names from lakorns.

My friend’s aunt named their daughter Dara [Thai lakorn freak]. My cousin named her daughter Angelee [Indian movie freak]. My other cousin named her daughter Yuma [Korean drama freak] and I’ve a few more relatives that name their child after an Asian dramas’ character.

How about those nature things, like Dao (Star), Mook (Pearl), Petch (Diamond), Tawan (Sun), Fah (Sky), Athit (Sun), Morakot (Emerald), Jun (Moon), Seang (Ray), Mookda (Opal), Tarn (Stream), Ploy (Pearl)....

Most of the times they combine two words to make a real name
