YAY the book "The Snowman" by Jo Nesbo will have a movie coming out this year in October . I read this book a few years back but I didn't have the chance to finish it. Now would be a good time for me to read it all over again & finish it so that I could compare it to the movie. I am actually quite excited because this would be the first time that I could finish a book & there is a movie about it lol.

So currently I will be reading "The Snowman," from what I could remember from reading it before, it is a good book!

Are there any readers in here? What books are you currently reading?

LOL I'm reading Chinese translated novels online in English. I'm currently reading "Siege in Fog" and just finished with "Review on A Mistaken Marriage Match: Mysteries in the Imperial Harem". I'm also reading "Ice Fantasy" since I've finished the drama, so I wanted to compare.

I'm reading, "All For You" by Lynn Kurland. It's part of her de Pieget/time travel series. I love time traveling genre. It's interesting and always fun to read. I have a couple other books I'm in the middle of reading but they're not that entertaining.

Same here. I recently bought, "The Time Travelers Wife" too, but haven't gotten around to reading it yet. I've seen the movie and loved it. Have you seen the movie?

I thought it is interesting that Rachel McAdams is in this movie as main female lead as well lol. It gets even interesting or "strange" lol is that she is also in the movie Doctor Strange. I finished this movie & thought it is a little "strange," lol anyhow this movie has time travel, turning back time - those kind of things lol, it seems like Rachel has a preference of time travel movie genre lol.

I am looking forward to SiF too. I hope it will be as good as its trailer.

I will have to look for, "About Time". Rachel McAdams was a good actress. I certainly miss her movies.

If you're interested, check out "Orange" it is a Japanese movie about time travel/parallel universe. It can be a little confusing but once you watch the whole movie it'll amaze you.

I am still on Ch 2. I notice that there are lots of scenery descriptions therefore finishing Ch 2 is a struggle since I don't want to skip over the scenery descriptions & miss something important lol.

Have you read to Ch 5 yet? Lol, I looked through them.

I hated it when main guy is physically abusive, it's a total turn off.

That is so disgustingly cruel of him to even do that. I don't know what to expect from the drama now if it has those scenes .

I have put The Snowman & SiF on hold since I have been reading "The Ugly Duckling" lol nope, not the children's version & by a different author too. I bought the book a few years back & read just a few pages, probably I didn't even finished chapter 1 but just recently I was in the mood to read it & now I am 2/3 into the book.

Well I finished The Ugly Duckling, it is a great book! Love the dialogues between the characters, it has twists & it interested me from beginning to the end. Love Nicholas the main p'ek lol.
