I like Han Sunhwa. I think she is one of the better female idol turn actress. But holy shit I started this without looking up information. This replaced Jang Bori is Here, a drama that I stuck with to the very end despite the horrible shit the scriptwriter was throwing at me. I just realize that this is also a 50 episode drama. Too late to turn back. For some reason Koreans are really good at making family dramas because you just hate how good they are creating them (being sarcastic by the way). And what do you know, this also has a birth secret. 2 birth secrets at that, just like Jang Bori is Here.
I am 9 episode in and my oh my... I am sicken by this drama. Jang Mi's (Sunhwa) father needs to die! You expect evil/selfish mothers/grandmothers but surprisingly here, it's the male this time, the leading gal's father. Don't get me wrong, there's plenty of evil/selfish mothers and grandmothers involved in here as well.
I just feel so sorry for poor baby Cho Rong. Yes Jang Mi and Cha Dol (Lee Jang Woo) has a child together but Jang Mi left to the States. I completely understand Jang Mi. She has postpartum depression. Jang Mi is receiving a lot of backlashes from viewers but let me tell you, postpartum depression is very very real. My friend went through it and it wasn't until her baby was 2 before she could really connect with her baby. But because she doesn't have the support group to help her get through it, she is doomed. Her father sends her off to America and he also wanted to get rid of her baby.
Ugh I don't know if I want to continue. This is almost just as bad as What's With This Family. I hate almost every character.
