Oh, so this is the actress in the old version of Nang Tard? I see =)
As for her sexual orientation, I do not think that there is anything wrong with her being lesbian. I am curious, did she come out with her sexual orientation a very long time ago when she was rising and still acting or after she stopped acting? If she did come out a long time ago, I am curious as to how she became famous because you would think that some producers consider these kind of things in choosing an actress for their movie/lakorns, especially back then when being gay and lesbian was not quite as open as it is today.
By the way, was she an actress while Mam Jintara and Kwang and them were actresses, too? I have never seen her before =)

Morundee was very pretty when she was in her teen (per above pix). Anyways, I didn't get to see much of her lakorns...'cause I was not into Thai's at that time. I did see two of her lakorns. I didn't see the whole episode of Ban Sy Thong (opposite Syranyu) and Sawan Biang (opposite Sam). I went back and rented them to see for the second times....and I loved them so much. It's too bad that the store doesn't have her other lakorns such as Masay and etc. I was so angry at her for becoming lesb....you know. Anyways, no one can force anyone to become what we wanted her or him to be. I bet that in the past of her life, some actors in real life would fall for her too. I feel sorry that her life takes this path....and will not have children/siblings to follow her acting careers. For me, she was a great and lost actress.
My first time watching a lakorn starred Monrudee and Sarunyu in Ban Saithong..then I watched most of her other lakorns.. She was at the peak of her career and a very good actress indeed.. I don't know if being a lesbian is really true because she always had that issue as a black cloud throughout her life.. I've read somewhere that she directed "Ya Leum Chun" starring Pete Tongchur and Siriam. Another lakorn she directed starred Katreeya English and Pete Tongchur in "Prook Nee Chun Ja Ruk Khun". The latest news of her I've seen was that she went to stay at Wat Luangta Beau in Undon for the past two years now.. dressed like a nun in white top and black skirt. She's in her mid 40's and probably will never see her acting again.. She seems to enjoy the religious world more than the celebrity world.. Good luck to her if she's happy now..

Sarn, you said you have 4 lakorns of Likit?? would one of them be the old version of JLR or Nek tos sneaha starring him and savatree??? b/c i have been trying to find that old version. I heard it's really good! do you have copies of this lakorn or know where i can find it? i'd appreciate it so much! thanks! Moulady is one beautiful actress back in the 80's and yes the woman can act. How did every body know she's a leasbian, the last time I heard she a nun's, she became a nun's it was on the Thai talk show with Likit....they asked him about the movies that he had made withMoulady....he said she is the most beautiful girl he ever work with and a very kind girl too, the same goes with Sam he said Moulady is a very beautiful girl....he love her for real when they made Savan Bieng together.....sorry I don't remember the source cause I can't understand Thai, infor. by translation from my sister. She was actually way before Kwang's time, but I think with Jintara it was during the end of her Peak.
The very first lakorn I remember watching in my life was Massaya with Monrudee and Sarunyu! Omg that lakorn was the BEST! If anyone has a copy, please let me know! Another good one was Pra Peung See Chompoo..during those time they had had her voice dubbed b/c her usual voice was too low and not lady like.

Noo Pen Sao Lew isn't that her very first movie? They have no actress and back then Dara-video was just starting out and money was tight, so they put her together with Phirot(sp?) together, but the movie turned out to be a successed.

hello - i am trying to find out what is the title of the tv series Monrudee Yamaphai starred in. I vaguely remember she was a princess/queen and a giant took interest in her husband (the king) and took her prisoner while she transforms herself into the leading girl just so she can be with the king. According to my mom who doesn't remember the drama's title either said the giant imprisoned her in a forest and she went psycho. does anyone know the name of this series? a link? please! i am digging and can't find it. thanks!
