Matt Lauer and the TODAY show went to Laos today as part of their "where in the world is Matt Lauer" segment!!!

I thought it was very cool that they actually went there. They've got some really great clips from their visit. They even interviewed Aluna (lao singer) about the new lao pop culture. They also got a little interview from Ananda Everyingham about "Sabaidee Luang Prabang", first Lao movie ever filmed in Laos since 35 years.

omg..my friends were telling me laos was on the today show, and i did not believe them...like seriously..matt lauer! The TODAY show!! in LAOS??? how random..but i'm proud lol, we're getting our country out there

That is awesome. Gets the country more recognition. It was nice to see them try to pronounce Lao words too and talk about all the history of it and stuff
