You are right about not having any protection spell. I saw some pictures on instagram where people were taking pictures at those temples in the lakorn. I can't read Thai so I don't know what the names of those temples are.

I'm finally all caught up with the latest episodes. I binged watched this in 2 days. Such a good lakorn. I've never really watch Taew in lakorn except Pluerng Torannong with Mario. I didn't really like her character in there. After watching her performance in Nakee, Taew is now one of my favorite actress. Her acting is superb and full of emotion. Now I can't wait to see her with James Ji in their new upcoming lakorn.
Nakee love story is similar to the Cambodian Mythology, Preah Thong and Neang Neak. Preah Thong is a human prince who fell in love with a Naga goddess. They went through many obstacles just to be together. In the end love conquers all and they were granted a happy ending. I hope our lead couple in here have a happy ending too.
After Nakee I need to find something new to watch during Xmas break. I only watch channel 3 and some channel 5. For some reason I can't get myself to watch channel 7. By the way beautiful artworks everyone. Thank you for sharing!

She's now one of my favorite Thai actresses too. I really don't think they will have a happy ending from the spoilers and the novel. If there's a sequel I want it to be a happy ending. They get to meet in the modern day world and she can be human. If there's no happy ending I'll satisfied too cos goddess and human aren't meant to be together. It only makes sense.

I felt they rush it too... But I still hate the ending. I don't care if snake and human can't be together but at least have one of them become one or the other. I'm really hoping for a part 2 or sequel.

Awwh man, I was excited to see the ending but by the comments it seems rushed. I actually had a feeling it would be. The preview for the last episode didn't look like an ending episode. I wish they would expand on this, even have the last episode be tomorrow. Oh well, I'll see how it goes when I get the chance to see it.
I agree. I haven't had time to put in my comments but no doubt did Taew show how talented she was in this piece. I think the relationship between her and her mom was such an important aspect of the storyline as well. It's so touching, and made me tear up seeing the mother-daughter scenes. They both did such a great job. Everyone in here is so good. Even the snake goddesses that watch over Mae Nakee. One of them had spoke Esarn/Lao language and it was really good! I was surprised and it sounded so natural. Although Taew and Aom are doing a great job speaking, I notice their slip ups here and there. But nonetheless, I can't see any other actresses being able to take over their role. Such an amazing cast.
