Waaaaaaah my poor child *BAWL* Pim broke his heart real good, after all the salad he had to endure eating *cries* It's okay my son, you go and treat yourself to a burger with large fries, you deserve it. But the preview for the next episode is funny, hahaha I wonder what antics Pim would be up to hahahaha

Anyone know why Kim and James do not film 3zaap show? I saw Poh and Namtam join the show! It's strange because every other Lakorn film this show. I didn't see them on the other show as well!

That's what I thought too. But I couldn't hear it clearly. For Thais, is it better to address oneself by name or "phum" or "khun" or "chen"? Or does it depend on the situation? Or it doesn't matter at all.

Bcoz, for instance, in my country, the way you address yourself is important. If it's with someone that you are not really close to, we can't use "aku" coz it sounds rude. But you can use it with friends or someone you are really close to bcoz it shows you are comfortable with one another.

It's Saturday, we still have 1 1/2 day to go. Let's learn Thai and probably other customs since we are diverse in this thread.
This is a really late reply but I just had to explain haha - though I'm not sure if anyone has already answered this. But anyway, when a man is speaking, "Phom" is far more polite than "chan", and he uses it to generally address a woman who is basically his equal. If he were to say "chan", it can sometimes be to a maid for example, or someone he may consider less than him. A lot of the raeng lakorns have a male address the woman this way - such as Sawan Biang - but this changes later on in the drama and Kawee says "Phom". Btw, I say this speaking in general (it doesn't always make the guy worse or anything if he says "chan"). And having said that, guys may say "chan" when addressing close friends (especially males to males).

Personally in lakorns, I like to hear the pra'ek address the nang'ek with "Phom" (I) and "khun" (you) rather than "chun".

Khun is formal, but also addressed to people you respect. It is the safest word for 'you' if you're a foreigner, and husbands and wives sometimes address each other this way as well. If a man says "Khun" to a woman, he always refers to himself as "Phom", whereas "chun" goes with "ter".

But if it's a casual or close relationship, the name being used for "I" is the best way, and even though it's not exactly formal, it is actually polite. You may say your name for someone who is older than you for example, a sibling, a friend or often in Thailand to your bf/gf.

I hope that clarified it for you :)

I know that Ramet intention toward Pim is good because he want to change her behavior, but he did know that she was trick by Kitichai, he shouldn't act too harsh toward her. I really feel bad for Pim she look so scare in part 9 of episode 4. She struggles!!!! :crybaby2:
At least let her sell her belonging online!
Maybe he wants to spend more time with her by letting her working in his hotel!:naughty2:

Ramet is so mad that she trick him, but on the other hand he should remember that he fall for her at first sight, he was the one who follow her everywhere! He was the one who love her dearly without learning about background! Now I have turn to Pim side, I think Ramet is too harsh.

we rarely see this side of pim the side full of scars she rarely stay and think about what happened to hershe is most of the time trying to save her face and pride

and she is not bad she is just dumb and easy to trick and easy to manipulate here e.g she knew that this mission has risck but that bad guy convinced her and made it look ao easy for her and now when ramet hinted and told her what he did wit the person betrayed him she is terrified for her life now it become a nightmare

pim is just sooo sooo dumb with too much pride and anyone can see what is in her mind she expose herself easily
