Are you guys sure Khun Lung will get ill tonight & won't be able to watch his grandchildren grow up? I'm hoping that's not true. Because he's been the mostly quiet observer in all the things going on in his household. I enjoy his often blaise reaction about his son's eventual attraction to girl he had professed hatred - examples :

1) When Por Date broke Kade's chain:
Dad: Son, have you noticed that things have changed around here?
Date: Yes
Dad: Like what?
(Date stalls.....)
Dad: OK, I don't want to know

2) When Kade sang the moon song, she stopped halfway
Kade: How? Khun P? You like the song?
(Date pretends looking elsewhere)
Joi: Khun Thun, he's not listening
Date: Ehh Joi, get lost!
Kade: You did listened huhh?
Date: Every word. But next time I'll do the singing
Dad: WHY??
Date: Because it's a song complimenting the beauty of a woman
Dad: Ok, you practice. I go to sleep. Muang! Let's buzz off

3) When he caught Date keeping tabs outside the window (he's staring at Kade washing clothes)
Dad: Por Date, what are you doing?
Date: Where are you going?
Dad: What's this? I asked you first
Date: (Shuffling, embarrassed) I'm watching Mae Karakade doing her laundry. She's acting strange.
Dad: Is that a problem?
Date: Err.... No
Dad: (So observant, his boy can't get enough of that girl) First off, I'm checking out an engagement date for you Por Date
(Date, grateful face surface in degrees. Trust his dad to be so thoughtful)

For (2) part, when Kade sang one verse of the song, he saw Date peeping at Kade. He was the one who stopped Kade from singing. Then he observed his son reaction. LMAO!

yes he does pass away. This scene really affected Bella because her father passes away during the filming of this lakorn

Oh?? Okay, I go look for that Episode! I recalled it was Mae Jumpa who's exasperated & said Athuthaya's people don't sing that way
