There's a whirlpool to the left of the boats!!

I was trying to figure out this scene in the water = Kade was pointing to Date the way to go is up, right? But he took both her hands and pressed it down? Or did he grab her arms to put it around his waist?

That aerial shot is good! During that scene there's a sense of urgency because of the frantic rowing, the music, and Date's telling of Joi to be careful of the fast currents.

I was trying to figure out this scene in the water = Kade was pointing to Date the way to go is up, right? But he took both her hands and pressed it down? Or did he grab her arms to put it around his waist?

He wrapped her hands around his waist so he could swim upwards

I love these scenes..... especially when she came in to do the cold compress. His smile (away from her) is everything. He can love this girl for real now, he knows the old Mae Karakade is already dead.
