I've been wrongfully having mean thoughts on Por Date for quite a bit I think; I should have been kinder. Because this time it's his form of retaliation. Why was he so cutting to Kade in front of Kosa Lek & company? And did it so viciously too? It's jealousy. When Lek's family visited, Date walked into the house with the hint of a ready smile for Kade from the moment he saw her. That should be his form of olive branch, I think, from being bad to her the night before (he's starting to wean when she fainted & can't understand why - he recalled the evil Mae Karakade beating up Pin & Yam).
But she looked past him & lighted up at Rheung! And we know Date's ploy, if he can't get at what he wants he attacks it front & centre.
