SCREW THIS PIECE OF CRAP LAKORN! Now, it wasn't as bad as the older version which was a complete gong show with the amount of craziness it had but this was pretty headache inducing as well. I still don't like this director, out of the 5 or so lakorns I have seen from him, only 1 was of good quality and this lakorn wasn't it. The pacing was really bad, it really seemed to go in circles with Pikul's father being obsessive about the orchestra and forbidding and ordering Pikul to do this and that. Then when it starts to pick up, it falls flat. I can't believe they spent so much time on Sarapee being a murderer and killing a bunch of people yet you don't even see her or her father's demise. At least in the first version she gets her due. Then the ridiculousness of the second lifetime with Rach falling head over heels over Pikul and screwing her ghost form, made literally no sense.

Great and Bella have minimal chemistry at most and they seem to have more sexual tension than chemistry, you would think the two go hand in hand but sadly no. It doesn't help that their love story is the most boring and stupid love story ever. They literally met a couple of times and then BAM they have this whole grand push and pull love story where it's forbidden and they can't be together. Every one of their scenes together was boring, yes, even the willing was boring. The problem with the old version was that the p'ek was never in love with the n'ek and did everything to get in her pants but at least Ae and Dan had good scenes together that kept you drawn to them. The love story would be better if in the beginning the p'ek was tricking the n'ek to get her body but he ends up falling in love with her, at least there would be an interesting build up. Pikul is also the most boring n'ek ever, she literally has no personality other than being a good Pbee player and wasn't to defy her dad for not letting her do stuff. The whole second lifetime thing when he falls in love with Pikul came out of no where, no build up, just BAM. The third lifetime also fell flat, by the end of the lakorn I'm like "ok, it's done, so what". I felt connected to neither the n'ek and p'ek, they were just two idiots who were put in stupid situations and no matter how hard they brooded or suffered, I felt nothing.

Kao is a pretty good n'rai, she definitely suits it more than lead material. She really know how to make you hate her. Too bad the writers and director decided to forego completely telling her story after the death of the leads, it would have been interesting to see how her life ends. With both versions, you don't give a rat's ass about her in the second life.

Prim and Alex were the stars of this lakorn really. They were at least interesting people with a whole lot more motivation and personality than the actual leads. Glad in this version they omitted the part where he becomes a monk as she is left pregnant and alone. They had a lot of potential in the second lifetime but sadly they were very undeveloped with no clear evidence of any true feelings between them. I would have liked to have stuff to make up for the fact that they couldn't be together in the first lifetime.

Overall this lakorn was a boring piece of crap that has wasted a whole three days of my life. My grandma loved it, I couldn't be finished with it fast enough.

Thanks for the review @Cupid Candy ! I love the leads but couldn’t get myself to watch it at all. Haha
