I miss Ken T. onscreen! Recently Philippines acquired the rights of Dr. Foster for adaptation. If this will push through it will be the eighth version after UK, France, Russia, India, South Korea, Turkey and Philippines.

I don't get this trend with adapting Korean dramas. I like my lakorns being lakorns. On another note, Anne Thongprasom and Aum Patcharapa are very fortunate as women in their 40's to still be this successful in something as fickle as the entertainment biz. Like they're still getting good roles with popular young actors and being offered huge roles.

Many Thais already watch a lot of Korean dramas and the Thai adaptation may instead bring more criticism than appreciation. Channel 3 must learn from what happened with My love from stars starring nadech and Matt. But I think the channel feels this might be an easier route to international market.

I actually haven't watched any Thai adaptations, except for MLFAS. However from what I've heard, Full House earned some great success. MLFAS was a disaster for so many reasons: Nadech's bad hairdo, Matt's untimely bad reputation, Matt's wooden kissing scenes, the scene by scene copy of the original.

Full house is a good adaptation. Infact I liked Thai version more than Korean one. But the chances of a popular drama remake becoming a hit is very low. Personally I am not interested in Anne Ken combo.
