The Passion (Starring : Sarunyu Wongkrachang, Bongkot Kongmalai, Tawan Charujinda)

Rahtree Returns (Starring : Cherman Boonyasak, Krit Sriphumserd, Pitchanart Sakakorn)

I don't know if these movies are good...but they look very interesting (from ethacd.com).

Can anyone explain to a stupid farang about subtitles? When I go to the movies in BKK with a Thai friend, there are nearly always English subtitles , so the Thai movie makers have obviously invested money in making the subtitles so farang can enjoy their work.
But when you buy the same movie on DVD guess what - they have gone to the effort to REMOVE the subtitles which they already paid for. On a DVD it surely costs very little to keep the subtitles. It is almost as though they don't want farang to buy their movies on DVD. .......

The reason is probably because Thai movie makers know that farang are the worst in the world for illegally copying Thai movies without permission and selling cheap CD-R copies in street markets.......

I know, that's totally unfair. :( And some of the movies don't even come w/ subtitles, even the newly released ones. Don't they want to expand and let everyone non-thai see their movies so they'll love thai culture? Psh

Anyways, for my picks, I can only think of a few...haha
Salohit, Samee, and that's all. :p The rest are borans...I wish they'd sub borans. Haha :D

I don't know.. I don't watch Thai movies/films only lakorns.. hehe.

Love Letter was the best movie I've watched. The Memory is good also and 7 Flowers.

In general, I wish that all lakorns had English subtitles because I am not Thai, and it would be much more convenient to read English subtitles myself and understand, rather always asking my parents to translate the meaning for me. Haha =)
