Viy’s medicine have ran out and she went to the clinic for a refill . While Viy was waiting to be call in Lisa also came for her annually check up . Lisa was sitting right next to Viy but scoop a little away because Lisa was disgusted by Viy 's red rashes that was visible on the shoulder ! Lisa want to move far away but all the seat was taken .
Lisa pinch her nose and fan herself as if Viy have a bad odor or something . Just then one of Viy friend came to greet her “ Hey Viy , i haven’t seem you in months !”
Viy reply “ i quit a along time ago”
Her friend ask “ how Soraya doing ? i was at the club last night and Terry was complaining that ever since some guy brought Soraya from him the business was quite slow!”
Viy was sad “ the man name is Harit , i haven’t heard from my daughter for a while too . I don’t know where he took her tooo” her friend pat her back and tell her everything will be alright .
The nurse call “ Viy ! Ms. Viy” she got up and say good bye to her friend and follow the nurse .
Lisa overheard the whole conversation. She smile to herself “ so this must be Soraya ‘s mother ? it have to be ! the man that brought Soraya go by the name Harit! my fiancee . this old lady miss her daughter eh?”
Lisa went to the nurse and ask “ what does that lady went in for ?”
The nurse reply “ sorry miss i’m not allow to reveal a patient condition”
Lisa was piss off and dig through her purse and pull cash out and handed to the nurse “ all this is your , just tell me!” the nurse eye lift up and spill everything “ her name is Viy . she infest with HIV positive but she claim she can’t effort proper treat . she come to refill her symptom pill” after hearing this Lisa shake in disgust! My god ! if her mother have aid....what about that Bitch ! My Harit is messing around with that slut too!!! No! Lisa thought to herself “ Harit hate this family of course he won’t seek low enough to consider Soraya!” a smile form across her face .New idea came to her head maybe Soraya would love a little family reunion! Lisa will tell everyone about this family disease and surely they will kick her out the house! Harit will be her again !
Viy came out the office and headed to the counter .
Lisa turn to Viy and said “ do you want to see your daughter” . Viy ‘s head shoot up and tear of happiness leak from her eye and turn to the young lady and happily nodded her head “ yes ! i want to see my child “
Lisa smile evilly to herself .
Soraya was always the first one to wake up in the morning . She cook breakfast ,clean the house , mop the floor , dust the table ---just be taking the servant job leaving them awe . She help grandpa down the stair to the dinning table and after breakfast sometime he would ask her to read the Buddhist Teaching since his eye sight have been very poorly lately . Soraya even know Aunt Mary and Sally habit . They always have their morning coffee before eating anything . She know Aunt Mary love black coffee while Aunt Sally like it with 2 tea spoon of sugar with no cream .
She even know Aunt Mary love flower and everyday Soraya will cut flower from the garden and rearrange with beautiful design and place them in Mary’s room and office . Aunt Sally is the chubby one because she love to eat and Soraya have secretly ask the servant what Aunt Sally favorite dishes is . After founding out she would go all out to make it and would leave it in the cooler for Aunt Sally to come down and eat it . Sally love the taste and had ask the servant who have made it . The servant will giggle and said Miss Soraya prepare it for her . Sally was a bit surprise but love the kid for such great cooking skill.
As day goes by Sally , Mary and grandpa was stun at her behavior they grow to love the girl more and more each days . As for grandma , Soraya will bring her breakfast to her room and leave it on the table with her pill and leave the room silently . Grandma still have some bitterness toward her but it have tone down quite a bit .
As for Harit......after that night he stay with Soraya the following night after night he sleep alone in his room refuse to touch Soraya ever again , why? Because he doesn't want her see his weakness and pity toward her and that night was a mistake to stay with her ! Harit hate himself and swear to never show any affection toward his enemy again .
Harit woke up late and he look at his watch and hurry to shower when he came out the bathroom his work clothes have already laid on the bed nicely clean and iron . He was surprise and figure the servant must want a raise or something . He change into them and then open a drawer looking for his favor tie.
Soraya walk in and said “ you looking for this ?”
He stop and turn to the voice “ yes , i thought i put it here”
She smile and said “ i was ironing you clothes and i left the tie down stair .i went to get it for you”
He then know it was her that prepare his clothes he shouted “ give it here , i’m late !!” he back to his mean self again . She drop her smile but she refuse to give up her intension “let me put it on for you “ she walk up to him refusing his protest and swing her arm around his neck and straighten his collar . She work on it till it was neatly tie . She step back to look at her work “ see , you look ...handsome” she blush .
He caught her expression making her smile wilder .
Harit warn “ don’t you ever look at another man with that eye again ! you hear me ! if i see you do it to Willy i’m kill him and you too !!” shouting again .
His voice frighten her yet it make her heart pump with joy at the same time, is he jealous ? Maybe not but Soraya want to imagine he is . It give her hope to think the positive side . Harit said “ get out my room .Go . this is my personal space and why in the hell you intrude on me ? i say get out ” she can feel his bitter breath blowing across her face ....she want to be nice but he return her warm feelling with coldness and anger ......
The servant knock at the door and came in “ there someone down stair to see Miss. Soraya ” then the servant left .
Harit beam her . He wonder who could it be ? Soraya herself was quite surprise nobody know she here . She left the room and Harit follow her to the living room and everyone was there . Lisa smile in delight as she run to hug Harit nearly knocking Soraya down .
Lisa then turn to Soraya and said “ look over there ! “ she point her finger to a woman sitting on the sofa. Soraya was full with joy “ mom? Mom !” the two run to embrace each other . Viy was in tear gripping on to her daughter “ Soraya I miss you so much !” Soraya cry on to her shoulder . O’ how the sound of weeping and small laugh of joy between this mother and daughter reunion echo in the silent room .
Grandma and grandpa watch the reunion scene somehow it touches their heart .Sally and Mary was almost in tear . Harit was move too and he have flash back of his mother appear before his eye he miss his mother warmth and in that moment he really want to switch place with Soraya.
Viy pull back to see her child feature and her hand rise shakily to touch her face wiping tear off her daughter cheek ...nothing can top this feeling Viy is having right now ...she miss Soraya so much and even more knowing her disease will make her leave this world and never to see her daughter again. “dear , you look fatter than before “
Soraya smile knowing why - she pregnant of course and she can’t wait to tell her mom about the good new .Soraya gaze into her mother face “ mom you look pale ....i’m sorry to cause this much sorrow for you ...how every one at home ...how grandma ?” Viy felt a choke she was speechless ...tear was leaking out on both side of her eye and her lip tremble . How can she break the new that grandma is dead after seeing how happy Soraya is ?
Lisa burst into laugher and start clapping her hand “ isn’t this touching !!” she continue on “ Let me tell everyone a secret ..i’ll promise ..this will shock everyone ....”
Harit interrupt “ i have to go to work “
Lisa block his path “ wait honey , stay to hear what i’m about to say ...”
Soraya and Viy turn their attention to Lisa as she continue on “ Soraya’s mother not only sell her body like her daughter but the woman is infected ...with HIV !! yes! how disgust ! and Soraya probable have aids too!!’
Every one shoot up in disbelief . Harit went stiff . Viy instantly pull away for Soraya as if she afraid to spread the disease to her daughter . Viy stepping back shaking her head and crying her eye out admit it “ yes, it true” Viy was heartbroken.
Soraya stood there motionless opening her month but words didn’t came out -- only tear. Nothing but tear flowing like river and shudder in a uncontrollable grief as her hand reaches for her mother .O’ how Viy grow pale as she look around the room . Every one started to walk to the other side of the room as if they are fearing the disease will kill them ....
and he only just turns off the lights lol.
