i wouldn't really call it "abuse" more like acting rough. he wasn't like beating on her. just gave her a couple of tosses & all up in her face type of thing. he didn't like punch her in the stomach or like kicked her.

OMG i see SB vs JLR everywhere in SW lol. anyway congrates to SB for the top rate!

to be honest, i haven't even start on SB, it seems to be a very good lakorn plus ken and Ann, both top actors from Ch 3 are in it, i might give it a try, but from reading the posts, are you all serious? 3 or more R scenes in there? that is just too rough of a p'ek. i mean one R is enough in a lakorn lol. Usually after an R the p'ek should at least felt guily and at least should have felt in love with the n'ek too (anger&jealous types) of doing some thing to n'ek and would try to do some thing better for the n'ek, not by trying to R her again and again. that's not my typical p'ek lol. if for me no matter how much i love, i would never forget that!
i would rather have an R follow by "willing", that's to show that p'ek and n'ek are in love and they are enjoying it. But 3 or more Rs in SB? the p'ek is crazy lol! oh no offense to ken fans, i don't mean to anyone in particular, this is just a general type of character lol, so please don't throwing rocks at me na.

As for JLR, sorry for JLR fans, it was so popular and was the talk of sarnies in here, so i decided to give it a try,but it was a disappointment. Exactly like Kashie stated earier, it was just a typical thai lakorn, that the p'ek and n'ek misunderstand each other and so on. i fasted forward it most of the time, but i must admitted that Aff is so pretty, and that island was so beautiful too. But the storyline wasn't that great for me.

So yeah i guess we all have different taste lol!

Moh was all for it..LOL..she was watching JLR + MTR at the same time..ehehehe..i loved the beginning of the Kob one..i loved how much he was in love w/ her...but later they argue and misunderstood each other too much..there wasn't like anytime for love..**tears**

you should totallie finish Mafia Tee Ruk..it's a cute/hot/sweet/sad lakorn..i loved it..ehhehehe..i hecka recommand Sang Seang w/ Chakrit..if you don't mind watching w/ out subs and want to see good acting...tat's the one to watch...

yeah agreed with that, the one chakrit did with kob was so the best at the begining, it was so romantic when he was so in love with her lol that was the best part of the lakorn, but even though later they misunderstand each other- well esp kob (she's too stubborn and can't let go of her revenge) we still feel and sense their great chemistry lol plus the ending was so sweet :wub: !

yeb i would recommonded that Saeng Soon too, if u haven't give it a try yet, it was a great drama and awesome actings too!

what i like about ann? her ability to act. she doesn't take on the typical nang'ek role [being weak & always needing a guy's help]. she plays as an independent, strong-headed nang'ek who doesn't let others get in the way. her ability to cry like there's tomorrow just touches me. i've never seen any other nang'ek cry their eyes out like that. i'm glad ann got to play narin because she just did one hell of a job.

what i like about ken? how much he has outshine in this lakorn. usually you would see him being all nice & shy. so when you see ken stepping out his boundries then you know he will make the lakorn damn good to watch. & his ability to cry, oh man, it makes all the other pra'ek who has cried look like wussies. ken's character in the lakorn makes you think that that is how ken really is in real life. he puts so much into the character & that is why i love ken. he stepped out of his comfort zone & showed the industry that he can take on parts that he usually does not do.

i like ann...she acts better than most....but i think that she should expand her horizon...not just play an independent, strong-headed nang'ek.....i dont mean weak or crying...but maybe something else....don't you want to see something else from her because i would really want to see how far her acting ability can go....

exactly...ken steps out of his comfort zone...and look where it takes him.....new and different places...

newbies arent doing anything for me..they cant act , they need more years of experience , yes im bias!

lol the funny thing is that i didn't know about paul or noon before Rahut Rissaya....:loool: when i started it...i fell in love with them...it wasn't until i went on here and find out about them and how they were long-time actor/actress...weird right

i know...it's better to watch long-timers....newbies are just okay to what we have seen before...but idk....i see potential in some.^^.

but honestly there are so many reasons that could pull SB down...i mean the fact that everyone knew and loved Ken & Ann alreadie can also be a disadvantage...and since Oum Ruk was such a big success...the fans will be obligated to compare and see if they out shined their last lakorn ( i personally cannot pick between the two lakorns)...just like we were discussing it earlier in the SB thread we all have such high expectations of it...if it wasn't good enough by just a little we'll throw it off to the side...lastly Ken..dude! tat dude is alreadie married...if he can still pulled off a lakorn like tis w/ out the public talking crap about him and tunning off their...you gotta give it to him...

well i'm gonna state my comments too out in the clear cuz it's just merely my opinion so i'm not gonna hide it under some spoiler..so if you get offended..anyways...SB still kicked ass in SW...finishing over 500+ pages wen the lakorn ended whereas JLR stand at 300+ wen it finished..these record i'm sure will be broken later..as for the moment...and i guess i'm reasonning like you too..I tink the reason JLR could out beat SB on SW based on artwork and other stuff is also due the airing time..most of the members on here are from the US..and luckie JLR aired in Jan..beginning of the year..little stress...whears SB began in March..ending here in April..freaking! the school year is ending! Finals are HERE! it's bascially crunch time...so to me...SB KICKED A$$$! and also..last point here..what really matters it the BIG PICTURE! -_-..the ratings...

hmmm....high expectation.....meaning that many people would want to watch it......sometimes i watch lakorns only for the actor/actress even if the storyline is a bit of a let-down.....besides...i think that if some of the public doesn't like this sort of thing...then maybe they should watch it in the first place then......and i don't that ken should care about the public...as long as there are still fans and his family beside him...then it's okay

well then..,.if we are putting it right in the open......if someone is worried about school...then they should reconsider their priorities.....if a lakorn can control ones life and be the deciding factor of one's future...then whoa.....but if you look at it.....JLR was first...what if SB was first.....do you think it would matter then.....and besides SB finishing up with 500+ pages means nothing.....since there was this "battle" with JLR...of course there was a goal intended....if others known that...aka me...then i wouldn't let it happen....b/c when i watched JLR...i didn't have the goal of beating SB since there was nothing about SB yet....so JLR was at a disadvantage after it ended......we started it first......hmmmmmmmmm shall we start all over then....a brand new...JLR and SB thread their second one.....(this one doesn't really count)....and see it from there then.....you could say "well what are we going to write in them..we wrote all on the other thread.." well you could always talking about the lakorn over again..i mean if you really love it...then there shouldn't be a problem....also we must start at the same time if we were going to this...having an unfair start....wouldn't really fair right ^^.....

well..what part did you like about JLR..i find the lakorn..i'm sorrie fans...but to me i find it typical...pra'ek mistaken the nang'ek for someone else who hurted his loved one..he takes out his rage on her...but falls in love with her and "R" her while he's still thinking that she's the person who hurted his loved one...find out he wronged her...runs after her..happie ending...now you'll find all of that aspect under "you know that you are watching a thai lakorn" section as stated above....

now reasons why i love SB...well..first of all the cast was absolutely AMAZING!! ...second there were soo many stories within the big story that could stand on their own..examples...big story Narin & Kavee's...but then there's also Kavee and Khun Kids...Kavee and Leela..Leela and Narin...Narin and Tom...Kavee and Pat..Pat and Tom..there's a lot... ..and I personally love that they showed the "sour" father & son relationship...that i tink so many of us can connect to...i know most of us don't exactly have the best relationship w/ our parents at the moment...but it's good to see that there are other ppl too..you're not alone...one of the best thing is that pra'ek have also knew and believed that nang'ek was a good person...and SB sisters you better know which part proves this...LOL..okay let me spill it out anyways..after Rin lied to him that the baby isn't his..he was so furious and angry...and wen pat asked him..he was like "she made me believed she was a good person all along"...so even through all the troubled they had..he had always thought of her as an angel..awww... :wub: ..there's just too many reasons...can't name 'em all..but last reason her...the FU**ING script was FREAKING tight!!! :arrg:

what's wrong with having a storyline similar to others....does it get repetitive...true that does happen...but it all depends on the skills of the cast to make it exciting..and that is what JLR did^^

true SB was good....their cast was good too....but again it carries "what you find in a thai lakorn" also like JLR.....in JLR soriya took all of the torture and everything....and Harit believe that if she could do that for someone she loves...WOW...lol....hmm SB script was good...but the basic storyline/outline was done....since both (SB/JLR) were remakes..they just modernized it.....
