i thought aimee is full thai...and didn;t she lived for the longest time in England. She was reading Law there before become Ms Thailand? I think this is from sarnwiki
they are siblings, right? I remember they host Dutchie Boy and Girl in 1997, the people introduced them as the McIntosh family. They are half British and half Thai, right?
i just watched the clip. very interesting. i don't understand Thai but I think I can guess. never thought that Bird Thongchai McIntire is half Malaysian. do correct me if I am wrong..in the clip the hos mentioned that Bird's father is a lukrueng (Half Scottish and half Hmong) whereas his mother is Malay / Malaysian...not sure cause Malaysian is our citizenship, not race.
what does Mon stands for? :huh:P'Bird's father is Scottish/Mon not Hmong, there is a difference.
oh thanks!Mon is was originally a dominant ethnic group in southeast asia at one point in time, particularly in Burma (as monkey5 mentions). Actually that's where the Khmer language has some of its roots, and maybe even for Thai and Lao aside from Sanskrit, if i recall correctly from Southeast Asian studies. Mon is definitely very distinct and different from Hmong altogether. Here's a generic link on it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mon_people , http://ww.knowledgerush.com/kr/encyclopedi...thnic_group%29/ , http://www.onlychaam.com/thailand-ethnic-groups.php
OMG! WHO CAN FORGET ANN THONGPRASOM!?!! SHE"S THE BEST! She's mixed too.
I don't believe she's half Hmong half Thai either...Not completely sure, but I belive Brenda Song is half Hmong half Thai...
I also have to add that in the earlier post about Kwan Ussamanee about being Hmong.. she is not Hmong she was telling ppl about all of her ancestry and it's MON... Not Hmong..oh thanks!
This Brenda Song thing is outrageous. Why does it matter, aren't we talking about "Thai Mixed Celebrities" here? I don't think she's a Thai celebrity at all. And about her ethnicity, Song claims that her mother is Thai; was adopted by her Hmong grandparents.I don't believe she's half Hmong half Thai either...

thanks for all the links! what a lesson on history for me.Mon is was originally a dominant ethnic group in southeast asia at one point in time, particularly in Burma (as monkey5 mentions). omg...hoopefully u find the pic. of pinky and her bros..Stefan Sunti's mom is Chinese from Singapore and his dad is Italian. (info from Praw magazine)
Pinky's mom is Khmer- Thai and her dad is Indian-Scottish-Chinese. She looks Indian but one of her brother looks like Arab and another bro looks like Eurasian. (info from Knock knock magazine)
Kwan Usamanee's dad is Lybian-british-Thai and her mom is Mon-Thai (info from Knock knock magazine)
Anyway, I'm still not sure about her dad because he's a police and being a police in Thailand, you need to be full Thai.
But I'm very sure her mom is Mon-Thai. She looks a bit like Indian (and Mon looks like Indian) and I saw Kwan and her mom in many variety shows or talk shows, they don't show their cult as hmong but more on Mon. And it's written in Knock Knock in Thai it's มอญ (Mon), not ม้ง (hmong)
I'll try to find a pic of pinky & her bros and post in here later.

Who knows what the heck she is. For sure she's Hmong. So just leave it as that. Because honestly she looks Hmong to me.
Wow, they look so mixed. Like if you had seen them on the streets, you would think they are something else...I think Pinky and Kwan are the two that have more than two mixes. Nice....Very gorgeous!
